I visited Ukraine 10+ years ago, twice, beware of scammers and crooked corrupt cops. One would have to be very brave, or just plain stupid to try and actually set up an operating business in Ukraine, and that is my thoughts from 10 years ago, can't imagine with what has gone on there that it has actually improved, I'd hazard a guess that it is actually worse! Besides this, I really liked the place and a lot of the people I met there, still in contact with 2 people there.
Thank you! I am watching several RU-vid channels about moving to Ukraine. One issue that I see is the many layers of bureaucracy that takes undefined and long times until a bribe request is made. Please explain since I do not want to break laws on bribery. The same is required in the USA but it is politely called "campaign donation" or buying a painting from the autocrats immediate family to expedite matters. The keywords to make it "legal" are "Foundation", "Gallery" or "investment".
Your funny...but sadly true...paying kick backs is sneaky, unlawful and abuse of power....it also ruins the union as a whole showing corruption. Who do you think paid Hunter Biden...the everyday Ukrainian when they paid there power bill. Who got a cut of that money? China puppetman Joe. I desire wealth, but I'm not willing to chop down the next guy to get it. Fair competition should be good enough and ban for life from public service those that abuse the power folks awarded them.
@@scruffy7443 Yes they have. Visit any restaurant in Odessa, for the "restaurant scam", try to buy an apartment through an agent in Kiev. Say "yes" to a pretty girl who directs you to an expensive meal at an expensive restaurant so you can pay USD $60 for a glass of tap water and learn she is actually married and works for the same restaurant as a shill for her cut of the bill. Prostitution is more honest, you know what you will get before and agree to what you get. These girls will wink at you and empty your wallet all the time you are with them. Don't listen to the sad tales.
Hi William. Go to Olga's RU-vid page and check her videos as I believe she's already made a video about how to start a company that will get you the three year residency. You wouldn't be starting a company in actuality (unless you wanted to I guess), but really just meeting the paperwork requirements for starting a company. To get the permanent residency, it sounded like Olga was saying that you could invest $100k in an Ukrainian company if you wanted, but she was recommending that you invest it in your own "paper" company, and then later use that money for your own personal use.
Thanks for all the Videos and Information. I plan to retire in Ukraine some day, My Mothers Grandparents moved from there to US. Im pretty young though so can't retire for awhile lol. I appreciate all the advice and tips. I don't know if I'd give up US Citizenship but I still think of Investing and Visiting, Ect..
Olga, recently, real estate became expensive in Ukraine, apartment prices in Kiev for example where almost doubled in the last three years. what is the reason for it?
What if you start a company but it makes no income money? Can you still live there and keep renewing residency??? Will the government say that I created a company that does no business so they think I’m trying to scam the government??? I live in California and am about to retire in my early 50s years of age.
According to what she explains, and what I understand, one just need to formally create a company, transfere money into it, which can be the money you purchase your house for. They wish foregin capital, and are not trying to make it too difficult. The government seem to more than happy to see that initial certain amount of money coming into the country, it's better than nothing. They naturally welcome more money being invested and value created, as most countries, but seem not to except it. Check around with other soures too.
I don't want to invest in anything or start a business. I just want to buy a house and live there. I will have my own retirement income, and I will not be a drain on the Ukrainian economy. I will be spending my US dollars in Ukrainian businesses and on Ukrainian services. Will I be able to move there, Olga?
the 'start your own company' is just a formality that can make it much easier settle down there, get a resident permit, not have to leave the country now and then because one are there as a 'tourist'. Naturally many does that too, travel to like Spain for a period, then goes back to Ukraine. As I understand from this video, one in practical invest into one's own 'company', and then next use those money to buy a home, so on. She got a email for contact under the video description, if you already not have contacted her
I think it sounds unjustifiable to say to stay in the Ukraine is going to cost $100,000 it doesn't cost that kind of money or a man to live in the UK in the UK you just prove that you can work also can establish somewhere to live on your own without benefits you get temporary residence in the UK if you are basically supporting yourself and for 5-years you are not entitled to any benefits from the country you can just get a visa to work for six months of year 2 years tax free I seriously think that $100,000 is way too much to invest into living in the Ukraine that's as maybe if you're looking at the higher end of the market but there are lot more cheaper properties around and a cheaper lifestyle to there is nothing stopping anyone being in the Ukraine for 90 days go home for a week to where they leave originally and then come back for another 90 without a visa right now looking up perfect properties for what I have intentionally to do but there's no way I will pay the some money that you talked about that would be just a total loss of money and a total loss of income and no benefits
@@HHH-so9ro I tried all that. Made $750,000 USD. Then was robbed of everything by a crooked politician. Its difficult to make anything, when you have to start over with nothing.
