I just came here to say that your videos are amazing and you produce some of the best product photographies I have ever seen. I hope you'll continue posting these amazing videos here on RU-vid
Really cool stuff. I like the way you use the selections as guides to stay in the lines. I’d suggest using the pen tool rather than the lasso tool though because it’s a bit more forgiving with larger selections since you can just undo any mistakes. Once you connect the pen dots you just right click and select “make selection.” I usually use that for layer masking different elements of an image.
Thanks so much for the suggestion! 😊 Yea I switch between the lasso tool and pen tool depending on what I’m doing. There are so many ways to do the same thing haha.
As always! You never fail to make it so easy! 💛 Also, since the time I’ve enrolled into the course, I low-key guessed it right about how you were going to clean the lines & get them crisp! And that means, getting the hang of photoshop! Can I thank you enough?
For me I prefer the clone stamp. There are so many different ways to do the same thing in photoshop and we all have our preferences 😊 That’s great you prefer the brush tool! I prefer the clone stamp for this 🙌
I’ve actually just tested out a business called auto retouch and was impressed with the skin retouching! I did have some issues though with removing background and adding shadows. I think it’s very limited and I personally don’t think I’d use it as I need more control of my photos and creativity and Photoshop is just such a powerful tool.
@@amandacampeanu Thanks for your feedback, Amanda. I've also tried a few times and saw there has an option for PSD file export. So I export the file and re-edit the image for a little bit of correction. But you might agree that it really helps to save some effort and time we usually spend editing a product image.
