Couple of things…can you use the no longer needed grommet that you removed to center the upper nipple hardware in the bonnet? And does the strut hit the coolant tank or not? It doesn’t appear so but some have said it does.
Yes…had the same issue. Mounting the ball nut in that location forces the strut to hit the coolant reservoir. Popping it out of place once the hood is closed.
Not entirely sure how this one clears. I bought the racingline brand one and it mounts to the existing latch bracket, doesn't work when you put it in that hole
