I have done all thats required but in the mapping section i cant seem to assign a key on my laptop keyboard, eg if i select the letter b, 4 beat loop appears in key assign search bar, what am i doing wrong,im also using my controller ddj 1000 if that help,also great tutorial 👍🏿

Hi @jayh1264 👋, Sorry for the delayed reply and don't worry, we'll figure this out 😊 When you connect certain controllers to VDJ the mapping settings usually change to match the controller. They're 2 ways you can go about the problem: WAY 1 - at the top of the mapping area there's a drop-down menu where you can select what mapping presets to use. You can try changing the preset to "default" or any other preset that will solve the issue, then save the preset under a different name cause it's always important to retain the default settings of any program Incase your customization goes wrong. WAY 2 - is basically to keep trying other keys on the keyboard until you find one that hasn't been assigned an action. Hi @Dj_Dante. I think I just replied to your comment in another one of our videos but for my song selection, I rearrange my tracks based on BPM and Key Difference, this helps to pick songs that can transition into each other seemlessly.
