Bro, thank you for such an amazing video. May you please do one on how to set up the CCs and automations on FL studio while using Reason as a slave. I'm referring to what you mentioned on the 3rd minute of the video. I hope my question makes sense.
open ReWire, click Midi Options,. where it says To, click the dropdown menu and it should say Reason 6, Reason 7, Reason 8, etc. The default is Reason 6, and you should see combinator on the right, if you don't see another combinator, click the dropdown and select Reason 7, the next combinator should appear on the right now. If not, try Reason 8, etc. Once you've found the next combinator on the right, change the Port "0" to something else, 1 for example. Then click add/change. Now load a new Midi OUT and set the port to 1 instead of 0, and use the corresponding number to select the next combinator/synth/whatever
Can you answer question for me please? What I'm trying to do is get the Komplete Kontrol S49 keyboard to run with integration in FL Studio. It's not integrated to FL Studio but Reason is. Could I use rewire in FL Studio to open Reason as VST. In Reason open the KK and load up the keyboard. I want to use the functions of ARP and Chord Progression and similar features. Since they work in Reason will they transfer over to FL Studio by running Reason as a client? Thanks so much!
You can use Any instrument in Reason even if it is rewired to Fl studios. Let's say you have Fl studios as the main DAW with reason rewired to it. You can still use your instrument and load a midi file In reason the way you'd do when Reason runs alone.. It will still play when you hit the play button n FL studios. I don't know if that's what you wanted to know..
@@GABRAN47 possibly. The complete kontrol physical keyboard the S49 scales and chord features work in reason due to full integration in Reason from Native Instruments. They won't work in F L studio. I was hoping I'd I bought reason to rewire into FL Studio I could use the integrated functions through reason in FL Studio. If you use Chord Scales on the S49 it only records the Notes not the full midi data the keyboard is supplying in FL. In reason it pulls in the full midi. Using the same scale progression mode in FL I would get a single note versus Reason I'd get multiple chords. Think the rewire would work? Thanks for the assistance. I could link you a video if I'm not explaining well enough whxih might be better lol
@@sikkenx I see. So just put the Chords in Reason. It will still playback even if you rewire Reason with Fl studios. You dont have to do everything in Fl studios. Reason is still active. So you can still do things in Reason.. Like Usually use my drums pattern in Reason even though its Rewired to Fl studios.
