We don't ride long distances often, especially very long distances like over 600 miles (1000 km). Sometimes we have to cover long stretches of the road in a short time for a reason or just to challenge ourselves to see the limits. There are famous challenges "Saddle Sore 1000" by Iron Butt Association and "Full Throttle" by Long Distance Riders, maybe there are other but these seems to be the most famous ones.
In this video, I organized into sections all my knowledge from a multiple rides of 1000 miles / 24 hours ti share it with you. Everybody does there own planning, but I hope some tips and ideas will be useful for you if you plan a long ride.
