Believe it or not, many people ride without one but I believe you need a permit for MSF.. it’s been a while I don’t remember.

I think this is a great idea. Very helpful. Here in Holland we have driving schools, for every kind of driving license you follow the lessons with an instructor. When ready, you have to pass for your exam. No license means no driving. You got to have an instructor.

💌 yes you are doing not only a good job , but a very good one 👍👍👍. I learned from this video , safety is the first priority. Do not talk to your buddy , always concentrate on your riding . I am a back rider , I used to talk to my buddy , that is really very unsafe , I will never do it again. Always on the lookout , be very alert because nowadays there are many people using handphones . An excellent advice 👍👍👍. If you are a new rider , always ride around areas you are living in for a couple of times , before going on to the busy main road. Many heartfelt thanks 😘😘😘 💝💝💝 !

Thank you so much for these lessons. Give us some tips on throttle control, this is one thing you didn't quite mention..
@PetroHead
@PetroHead Год назад
What are your specific questions about throttle control?
@kelval5679
@kelval5679 Год назад
@@PetroHead Thank you for replying. I noticed that I tend to unintentionally rev up the motorcycle either when I am turning the handlebar or coming to a stop while straightening the handlebar. It happens so often. Normally it happens when I hold the clutch in, but I can imagine how dangerous it might be when if the clutch is not held. I feel like this is one of my biggest problem, controlling the throttle, I rev it up accidentally so many times just holding the handle.
@kelval5679
@kelval5679 Год назад
BTW is the Triumph Trident 660 (the entry level) a good bike to learn from.? Some say the clutch or the throttle is not natural (linked by wire or cable). Any thoughts on that?
@PetroHead
@PetroHead Год назад
@@kelval5679 Thanks, I don't get a lot of requests about throttle control but maybe I will create a video on it one of these days. Get an N400 or R3 for the first 6-12 months.

My area is hilly. Inclines at lights. I have a 170cc scooter. No clutch. First motorized bike for me. Scared to ride anywhere before checking it out in the car. I found an incline in a neighborhood. There’s a stop sign there so I’m stopped inclined then have to continue inclined. I’m getting it down a bit. But some roads have signals and when there’s a lot of traffic they inch up through a couple lights. I will go there early one Sunday morning and see how I do. But I don’t foresee that happening anytime soon. 😳

I think a good video would be “learning how to read traffic”. An example would be to look at the front wheels of a car to tell whether or not they’re gonna jump out in front of you. Just an idea.

If you’re comfortable with clutch control, use engine to go up hills while you walk it but be careful not to launch it. If you stall It, it won’t go anywhere. Never put bike in neutral in hills.
