Almost any bobber light works good ! Glow sticks will work if u have to use it. Just make the tip of the light even with the tip of ur bobber . Then wrap the batter with black tape around the bobber

U can’t beat 832 suffix braid ghost color. I use a 10” float with a 1oz sinker . U will always float around if ur not on bottom and the winds blowing.

@@MYFISHINMISSION what pound line you use? I use 20-30 lbs fluro

@@joshredmond2766 I use suffix 832 braid 80lb line . It’s as thick as 20lb . Can’t beat it

@@MYFISHINMISSION beads are no good, they are usually hard and will smash the sinker hole and create sharp edges. Use either Aerator tube or bumbers, the bumpers are better but the tubing will work too if your swivel head is big enough.

So I use the tape simply to make my Bobbers last longer. There’s times where your bobber will hit the ground and break and start to come apart. The tape just keeps the life of the floats last longer!

I’m going to a Pay lake for the first time in a couple weeks down near cinci we’re from Michigan but my son lives down there. Your videos have helped a lot. I’ve fished my whole life but I don’t like going into something blind so I appreciate your experience and knowledge. Anything anyone else can add to this thread I would appreciate also🤘

So it depends. On my trolling rod I only use a bobber. But I I have a bottom rod that I use a lot of live bait on I’ll use a straw
