Hey everyone! Thanks for watching another video! I'm especially excited about this one, as it's been in the works since last year, even before I became unemployed. I hope this video provides you with some great tips on how to make your job more magical. If you have other tips or tricks not mentioned here to make your 9-5 more enjoyable comment them below.
Thank you for sharing. I hate my job. There is no romanticizing talking to people all day that are angry. However, I am happy that I get a paycheck because a lot of people are struggling to get a job. Hopefully, I will find another work from home job that is off the phone.
I know the feeling! I worked in a call center for a couple of years handling health insurance customer service. It was the most draining and miserable job I ever had. I was so exhausted that I had to see a doctor for migraines and even ended up in the ER with a severe one. What helped me get through that tough time was practicing gratitude, taking pictures, and noticing the changing seasons. These small things didn't make the job less horrible, but they did make it a bit more bearable. I hope you find something you enjoy soon, but in the meantime, I commend you for recognizing the bright side of having a paycheck!
I work from home and I am so happy that my office didn't force us back after the Covid. My tip is to have a dance party during your work day. Just put on some good music and dance your heart away!
I earn a huge salary and lately working feels like a dread... not sure why... my manager is fabulous - colleagues are the best... i gat a pension - 8 + weeks pto... free health insurance...a huge bonus... i work from home - but can go into an office if i feel the need....this is my dream career... i am paid a few hundred thousand dollars and if they lay me off - i get a few hundred thousand in severance.... but why - why - why do i feel like it is pure dread???? i feel ashamed - so many folks unemployed - underpaid - etc... and here i i am complaining about absolutely nothing ...
Hey there, thanks for sharing. I think it's totally normal to feel like that sometimes, even when everything seems perfect on paper. Maybe it's about needing something different or changing up your routines. Don’t beat yourself up over it; everyone’s journey is unique. Consider exploring what's missing through journaling, meditation, or talking to someone. I hope you discover what's missing and feel happier at work soon!
I spent the first minute and a half of this video not knowing if it was going to be sincere or a Reductress-style "How to Girlboss through the soul-crushing reality of a relentless grind!" satire
Yay Pittsburgh! I grew up in the south hills and I listen to jazz every morning while I ride the bus to work ❤ it makes a big difference. I’ve been listening to music every morning since middle school
Hey there! It's always great to connect with fellow Pittsburghers! Listening to jazz every morning sounds like a wonderful way to start the day. Thanks for sharing your tip!"
