Jay Kasana you should do all what you love to do. There is no problem in lunges if you do planned. Eat normal. Focus on proteins and electrolytes. Do not over eat carbs. Maintain a balanced diet and avoid alcohol and smoking...

Sir i have my trial after 12 days, 1600m in 6:30 min. My timing is 7:30 minutes please help sir what should I do. And one day before trial should I take rest or do continue running till trail. Please guide. I had clear same running one year ago but final merit list out. Please guide sir

DEVENDER SINGH 26 days fot 58sec is less, but you can achieve it by planning and working more on techniqje. Try running first 800meters slow. Use electrolytes between running, take good proteins. Also stress more on technique especially last 400 meters

DEVENDER SINGH I generally don't recommend ankle weights because they spoil technique. However in your routine you can put them once or twice in a week. Rest follow a routine and work on your core strength. Work on your upper body also

Vivek Kawde u will have to work real hard to reach there. 45 days are less to break 2:30 as I think you will take 9 min to complete 1600 mtrs. Try work on routine for one Month. In last 15 days u contact me again and we will plan the strategy as per your standard then. Start BCAA 8 1 1, Beta Alanine and whey proteins immediately

use your upper body more, concentrate on your breathing especially in last 400 meters. Rest well. Do not do intense workout 3 days prior to event day

I have to run a 7 minute mile in about 2 months, right now I'm doing it in 10 minutes. I live in an area where the temperature at night is around 30 degree centigrade, whereas the temperature will probably be around 40 centigrade when I have to run a 7 minute mile for a physical exam. Should I train in warm clothes at night to acclimitize my body to the heat? Thank you.

Run in normal clothes. No need to bring yourself in stress. On the race day which is just once, more different will be from your time and technique rather than temperature. Vonteddhu anil kumar start slow and end fastest.. U should have enough energy to put in last 800 meters. Plan ur run always before u run. Use ur upper body as Much as u can

MAHESH YADAV App race thoda slow start karo. atleast 400 meters ke baad pace padao. Steps ko chota rakho. Hands and upper body ka use karo. leg muscle develop karo ache se. Tab kaam banega

Bhai it is called shin splints...take a 20 day break and avoid 100 mt sprints ...and for some days slow your Pace and develop your muscles...

Start overall training and not just running. stress on strength and flexibility training. start running very slow. see my heart beat video to understand zones of running and then climb zones slowly
