My biggest job was a 70k hardscaping job. Made 40k profit and it pad for my Dingo TX1000. Grass cutting is the least profitable of our business. We cut 50 lawns 2 days a week and after labor and overhead i make about $640-$700 each day.

Just did a 21K stamped pool deck just forms and pour Formed in one day and poured the next Took home 12K profit and did another 6K job later in the week that’s a homerun for me it’s my 3rd season out on my own I’m 27 Bread and butter was 4-7K jobs some 12-15ers past season but like Keith said once you know what’s going on you just break it and up and make it happen Keep hustling yall And don’t forget to have a good confident attitude selling these jobs… it’s a luxury service we are dealing with a higher class person so keep the confidence how and show them just enough you know what you are talking about don’t knowledge dump on every detail… Think big yall god bless keep hustling

So I just quoted a super 8 hotel job a few days ago the want all of their old landscaping out and all new installed with 16 boxwoods installed. I sent over the estimate for a little over 7 grand not including materials, man hours (3man crew) and other overhead. I told them that it would total out at around 12.5 to 15 grand. I literally did what you said about the 50% profit margin. The maintenance manager gets back to me and says "..well that's a little too much for us.." after he literally told me there was "really no budget" ... I wish I could send you the estimate and the job description.

I did the same thing man,they don’t pay much at all, quote 3 hotels from the same owner,season (grass cut every week,spring cleanup,mulch,fall cleanup,I charge $25 k. They call me crazy them I asked how much the other company was charging and he said 9k for everything,this company is not making any profit,

16:01 that’s a 100% gross profit margin 50% of 6000 is 3000 and would make the cost to the customer 9000. Great information though and maybe I’m the one who’s wrong here? So grateful for you Kieth keep’’em coming!

I hate to say it but it sounds like his margins for profit are low. My take away is that he's doing a 13k job in 5 days and only profiting $3250.

Are you hearing yourself? $3250 is a 25% profit margin. That's not bad at all. Most businesses make a 10 to 20 percent. Also profit is after everyone and everything is paid. Personally we try to target 25 to 50 percent profit.

I guess it would depend on what the definition of profit would be. Is it before or after paying taxes because it does seem low but idk I'm 7 years in and still learning everyday going full time next month so I been crushing these videos. I'm aiming for 50-60 percent profit margins before tax but I'm a solo guy with 2 highschoolers

Why would any pro install landscape fabric? The weeds just grow on top of the fabric in the mulch or stone. It breaks down and is a waste of time and money. Those pins rust out as well. I’d never hire anyone that would put that crap in my yard. This video could be ten minutes or less…you have repeated yourself 8x times.

Nothing . You can't stop weeds . You will have to deal with them no matter what kind of pointless barrier you put down . Spray them when they're small . Weekly bed maintenance. @@maximus1045
