Great job, Nico! Valuable insights. Maybe you could talk also to top people in manufacturing business from Germany (Mercedes, BMW etc), it would be very interesting to know how they run their companies and in what way are different from "italian business mentality", and also more in general how car industry interlaps with racing industry, what are the future trends in it etc. I am sure, you can enter many if not all doors to high level executives, business owners) Please seize the oppotrunity. Keep it up, man!!! Very Good stuff!

Nico great work with some Fantastic interviews from different angles of successful people's story. Right or wrong you can learn something from each and every one of these people. I enjoy watching as you are starting a new chapter in business yourself and you are asking the questions as someone who wants to learn themselves. Now you just have to interview Mario Andretti about his journey from Europe to America and back to Europe in f1 and also his business ventures post racing. Would be 👍

This is a fantastic video. As a business owner and amateur sports person, I can learn an awful lot from this kind of insight and knowledge gleaned from Formula 1. Would like to see more content like this, subjects like high performance management, resilience, media management, health and fitness, etc fascinate me. Always welcome to help, support and give advice (to anyone) feel free to drop me line.

Everyone saying such mean things about Mr. Briatore should shush themselves and take a step back. This is legitimately good advice. Effort. Discipline. A way to motivate the people that work for you. Show them that when you win, they win. Delegate but be in control. In meetings, set time limits. Time is expensive. Connect with your employees. Execute, don't hesitate.

I think a discussion of the Fernando "crash-gate" scandal that ended his F1 involvement would take a whole show, so no worries about not going there. It would be great if you could get him to open up about it in a part 2 podcast.

Nico, first off, I am a big fan. In spite of the obvious inter-team rivalry at the time, you managed to win a world championship with aplomb and class. So, a big congratulations on that, as that is no small feat! Next, I would like to be a team principal (ideally for Ferrari) and want to own a number of businesses as you, Flavio, Toto, etc., do moving forward. Would it be possible for you to interview someone who could help answer the following questions...”In the big, tough world of F1 and business, you gone across some very tough characters, even bullies. How do you succeed in that environment and lead successfully?” Next, how do you successfully manage two very strong drivers (perhaps you could answer that one, Nico) within a team and how do you change a team culture when it is not currently winning? Also, how would you do this if you don’t necessarily have a lot of experience but a lot of great ideas?

Nico the interview was very nice. I think and wonder what type of business you want to build? Maybe you would like to build a go kart race track in Romania, because here we have bad go kart circuits and no circuit. Hope you will not laugh about this comment.

Putting 'Crash-gate' aside, Flavio was only ever about business and never about the sport. How he was allowed to be running Benetton on a day to day basis but have a stake in other teams (Ligier / Minardi) is amazing.

Why is Flavio Briatore suddenly spending so much time talking about F1? Presumably he's looking to make a F1 comeback. Try and reclaim some credibility. And Nico is facilitating that.
