I was in a whatnot sale where the seller did not have their phone alerts muted and you could hear things going off the entire time. It was very annoying.

Ann, I appreciate your video, and I have this little plastic camera stand I got at $5 Below lol! So, I am going to get the one you just showed thanks for the link! I have a question. Can you, or anyone out there share with me how on earth is everyone running items so quickly! I feel like it's the big secret no one is talking about. So the way I do my show is with a lap top and a cell phone. The cell phone for video and lap top to run all my items. All the items are pre listed before a show, and that is the way to actually do it according to Whatnot's instructions, but how are sellers running items so fast that aren't prelisted? Sometimes, people will ask me if I have items that I have not prelisted yet, or they want to bundle several items I just never got around to listing.... I have to to an add on and I have to stop, put in all the info including weight, go back in the list to find the item to run it, and it takes me too much time and I loose people in my chat because of it. Also, like I see sellers at flea markets, estate sales, just coming across items buyers see for the very first time! Sellers are lightening fast putting in those items and running! Is it a setting, are they just using a cell phone, and not a lap top combination? Do you know how? I would greatly appreciate an answer from you or anyone out there! Thank you.

I did take ur advice using yes the bag system w number I got stickers that will help me for the day there 7 colors and 1-100 I can’t imagen the shipping omfg we really neee a laser printer like a dymo or what ever there’s no way we can do it w regular printer omg

My 1st few shows where awful...1st one I had only my phone...computer wouldn't link and the second one my phone kept going from front camera to back camera and I was so grrrrr...

Thanks for the Video. - I am really thinking about doing my 1st Whatnot show. I was approved , but am scared and have not yet done anything on getting set-up for my 1st show. What is the device called that holds your phone and also provides light and about how much does it cost? I also do not use an I phone. I have an Android phone. Hi Ann, I am going crazy trying to get my first live going. I have an android phone, and an HP Laptop and cannot get anything to work when trying to do a test stream. Can you do a video of doing an actual sale with the screens showing and how you access the screens and buttons/toggles/pins, etc?? I am NOT computer illiterate, but this system has me so deflated!

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but can I use my phone horizontally? My tripod can only hold it that way :(

hi Ann. I've been using my iphone 8 but keep having to reboot auction. Are there certain setting i need to set on my phone to avoid being disconnected?

So if i sell clothes do i have to be on camera? I have been approved but can not figure out if i have to show my face or not.

I've done a few test streams using my phone as the camera and the pc to run the auction. I can't hear my own voice via the phone microphone. (I did a mic test with a free app and mic is working fine) I have the sound on the pc muted because it echoes and reverberates my voice. I fear that if I can't hear my voice, the auction audience won't either. Is there something I need to do to hear myself on my cell phone, or is it normal that you don't hear your own voice during the livestream?
