These running form drills look well thoughtful for a runner that's lost the mind body connection, which l have somewhat lost which l put down to my mental health. I believe this impact the nervous system and so takes away things like; balance, timing. guess small things are easy to miss, idk just what l get from the drills in this video, also like this approach to strength and conditioning. thanks.

Stu I am experiencing the same thing: I’m just noticing how my traumas have made it unsafe for me to inhabit my body. I’m learning how to do this again (Lawrence Van Lingen has been massively helpful with this, in particular unlocking my shoulder fluidity and in so doing, also my heart). And I’m rewatching this brilliant video from coach Bobby McGee that I’ve saved, feeling heaps of gratitude. So many emotions playing into this process, and metaphysically showing how the body truly does “keep the score”. And learning that these body languages are “portals”, and light posts guiding me (us) back home to harmony. (Sorry to sound super esoteric, but, for real!!!). Thanks for making me feel not alone❤

@@MelanieSakowski Hi, thanks for the comment. I had a ruff patch which caused me to be stressed alot, so l put on weight which more than anything halted my physical/mental performance, but l stuck with what l could do and didn't give into the world around me and focused on putting together a training scheduled with a focus on running (as that my overall goal, be a better runner, again!). Cross-training has helped with my weight loss, provided me with noticeable difference and most of all helped me reduce me stress levels, and now l sleeping much better. I was diagnosed with PTSD, which does help my emotional state, which l see to be so important in the mind&body connection. Now, l believe l getting somewhere again, recently noticing that for me my running technique can be enhanced by focusing on hip movement, leading with my hips and not becoming so rigid, and relaxing. I guess my point is, don't get lost in your own thoughts thinking nothing working, it taken me years to find something that has worked for me, getting back the basic of physical exercises has made me appreciate what physical movement is all about. I hope this finds you well!

2:28 “balance is asymmetric anyway, because of your organs.” 🙌🏻 WISDOM You look for symmetry and there isn’t symmetry, you just don’t expect it.
