Many thanks, I've been looking for "effective running tips" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Hiymelia Ziyddison Scheme - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my partner got excellent results with it.
1up you wait if you do exercises whilst watching the video, you can’t fully understand the video and you learn from others’ mistakes ie by reading comments.
Do not sprint on the balls of your feet rather sprint on your toes giving you explosiveness. During my track season (we won states because of this) you want your arms to go up to your ear and back to your back pocket. This will keep speed if you run out of energy in your legs. Drive for the best affects. Try to breath in through your nose and put through your mouth constantly
Actually there easy if you have a good body i legit kill myself every day with workouts so if i like a sport i can easily make the team for it i overtrain yes don't judge me i like soreness and pain in my muscles :) dn't reply saying don't overtrain your body needs rest fk my body i tell you to get strong you better get strong >:O
I am one of most skilled female soccer player at my school but I get tired easily, I am not very fit but I have good skills, and I can’t run 50 metres without getting super tired, this video really inspired me to train myself and get more fit, I have now decided to stop catching the bus back home and started walking/sprinting/jogging back home!! I would like to thank you for making this video and helping me improve my fitness!!!
Yeah same I was the best on my team but covid hit and I haven't been working out lately and I just had a game today my first game in over a year and I got tired so fast but have you had any progress yet I hope you are where you wanna be or close to your goal
Kevin Diakit yeah, but the way your body reacts(heart rate, breath rate) are physical. When you increase your VO2 max, your body has more oxygen to work with, so your heart doesn’t have to pump as much.
The mental toughness is in the training. Yes, it also matters during the last few seconds of a race, when you're neck and neck -- but you only get to that point if you've put in the work before.
I've been running on a treadmill since I was 12 and I always push my self running 40 mins straight on game days I could easil stay at a high level it also depends on how you run and how you breath
im not expecting you to answer but two seasons ago I was a bench warmer I started watching your videos and taking your advice on nutrition and training you helped me so much and I am now captain starting every game and was contender for player of the season Thanks
For positive self talk saying things like “did you really come all this way just to give up”. “ in the 95 minute of the champions league final are you just gonna stop running and giving it your all?” Helps a lot.
When i was in 8-, 9- and 10th grade, I played football (soccer) every day. I played it in school, I played it when I got home. I played football for about 5 hours a day. I got to the point, that he explains as well, that you'll get to a point where you won't become exhausted. I reached that point and i could play all day, every day. I was litterally playing till my feet hurts, that was the only point that could stop me from playing. I could sprint fast, I was getting better and better at reading the play (I got good at tackling as well). I knew where the player was going. The thing is very mental as he says. But there is a thing though, I didn't ever eat as healthy as he did. SO, from my perspective it isn't "extremely" important to eat healthy, but ofc. it's needed in some degree. I just played a lot of football. I played with people older than me, and people younger than me, and ofc. people at my age. When playing with the older boys, you know, you can't push them (at least I couldn't, I was very slim (I still am)). I didn't train like he does. I just played football with friends and in clubs. But the most fun was in school. I didn't like the training, I just enjoyed playing in teams against each other. His tips is very good, and If you want to be as good as he is (or somewhere near), I would recommend you following these tips (or the most of them).
Well, I just played every time I had time to play. I think it will take about a week, and then you will begin feeling that you can run for a longer distance, or don't get exhausted that quickly. I think that if you follow his steps, or do what I did, you will be able to "not be tired" within two months. But the most part comes from that you have to be competitive if you want to do the same as I did (playing football in school / or at home with a sibling). For how long time do you normally play football on a single day? :) I played at least 5 hours a day.
That is true. I'm just saying that to get to the point where you don't get exhausted doesn't mean you have to eat healthy all the time. I can for sure say this; I drank soda EVERY day. It didn't affect how I played, and it didn't make me slow. I was slim. I didn't just drink one soda.. I do not think you should drink soda every day though, but I did.
Thx man. I get tired really quickly. THIS video motivates me to want to strive for better stamina. I'm gonna be trying out for my Highschool soccer team possibly as a midfielder (first time trying out for a team). Whenever I'm playing street soccer with my friends I'll sprint really fast but then after that my body just takes so much time to recover.
yeah, midfilder and he make sprints, inteligent play :)) are u playing deep playmaker??because u just need to takle and build up attacks with passes, where are u sprinting
I was in an ROTC and during one of our mile runs I took off with everything I had, was in front of everyone in my platoon. Felt proud... for a total of 15 seconds.
Change the way you look at FITNESS training and you'll become fitter instantly. If doing this sort of "realistic training" is something you always hide from, how are you suppose to be fit enough to play 90 minutes? Take your fitness seriously and everyone else will have to take you seriously because you'll be running circles around them. It also depends on motivation, for example, when you run alone you get tired more easily, but when you have a friend running with you it becomes another story.
Damn it! I was able to recognize myself at almost all mistake runs you've showed... Thank you very much for teaching us the good things! Seriously, I can't be grateful enough!
What I can 100% confirm that helped so much in increasing my stamina is “positive thinking” when you’re on the ground, tired and literally dying always think of how to breath, how to recover. It will distract you and get rid of the fatigue, and also say stuff like, this is piss easy and etc.
I recently stopped smoking to get back into futbol and I used to have a lot of stamina but now I can barely run for a long distance, this video was very helpful, thank you :)
Today I cried after 5 continuous runs in a small ground and was taunted by my younger sibling(who completed it)and mother, and now I'm here... #Revenge
I have similar experiences but not this severe but just know when you finally have the last laugh...It feels so good that you feel all the training you did was worth it even if the feeling last a few minutes
No you dont you just want attention I can tell because what kind of army soldier would have a name like saint fire? Even if you are trying to get in you won't make it because it of your grammar
Thanks man. I’ll definitely do what you said. I had a match after 3 months since we didn’t have games for 3 months, after I sprinted for 5 seconds I felt really tired. This will definitely help. Thank you!
I was a goalkeeper and I live in England I got trials at Blackburn rovers 2 times and I nearly got a third time but I gave up playing football beings I weren’t enjoying it and now I have gained some weight and I can’t run for very long so this video has helped me build up my stamina so I can go for my everyday run instead of running and being out of breath straight away .
This is a great video. A lot of the big RU-vid vloggers are just selling products or letting people think there are short cuts to fitness. This video hits all the most important points and is clear and precise. The only other advice would be recovery. Thank you for the vid!
My coach once made our whole defence do a 5 full 100 metre long pitch sprint just because we lost 1-2, this is the kind of coach i needed, ever since i know when to stop and keep pushing
he said in the vedio you need atleast 3 times a week I wish I can do what he does and practice but in my country we don't have local pitches and rentable one's are rare to find you have to go to sporting clubs to play any sports and that sucks since I'm living like at least 20-30 minutes away
proportionally it weighs more, but what point does it prove. It's like 1lb of stones and 1lb of feathers, it takes up less space, but the stones weigh the same as the feathers
I could be wrong but he only mentioned getting leaner which makes sense because it would theoretically require less energy to move less weight, not being upper body heavy. And of course legs are more important than the upper body in soccer it has the main muscle groups that you use in soccer in the first place. It's like saying you're arms are more important while doing push-ups than you're legs....duh
If you got 2 containers the same size and mass and everything and in one container put fat till it filled up and the other container full of muscle then the fat would weight more
I feel like going for runs is great too if you've been out of shape for a long time. Getting that running posture in check and reaching faster times is key when doing this. I feel like most of the time i start doing bad in a match is when i maintain bad posture and dont keep my core in check for that extra boost.
Thanks! While I spin around on my chair while listening to music for 2 hours straight, ill try this, thank you! What i usually do is keep breathing deeply, but the problem is that I do that to regain stamina while spinning, constantly pushing with both hands as my chair has gotten harder to spin on. So yeah thanks! I should do it untill Im tried, and when I need to regain stamina I'll stop the chair and just relax and breath deeply there. Anyways again thanks! I will try this.
This guy's awesome. I hope his mantras work for him at 45, coz it's fucking hard staying positive when you're smoked after a 20 yard sprint. And there's 85 mins to go.
85 mins to go 😂😂😂😂 alright im done, no one start at level 100, everybody starts at their pace man just show up everyday and you’ll get there and last the full game
I'm not using this for Football or any sport like that but I am starting to train for the Seals Fitness test and this has helped me alot by learning what I have to do to get better resistance.
Tbh, at first I thought that you running towards the camera will be some kind of cheap intro, but it turned out to be the crucial and the most important part of all of this. Great video.
I'm not watching this for soccer, I'm watching this because I heard I need to run 3 miles without stopping everyday when I join the marines. Thank you brother
Will my stamina improve if do a lot of speed drills rapidly in short amount of time? I used to do many agility/speed drills 16 reps each with 2 sets - I was sweating so hard and got so tired! Will that improve my stamina/endurance?
Yes, it's called lactic tolerance. The most usuall is running around 95% top speed for 15-20 second and then rest 45-60 second. It helps recovery after sprinting. That's exactly what most positions in Football need
This helps alot I dont feet as tired running now. So true about jogging. I used to jog 3 miles thinking I conditioning great, till my first game then playing 10 minutes & needing a sub. Sidenote : your a manifestation of Michael Bradley & Prince Royce if they had a baby.
A really great video! It will help me a lot! The only thing I thought about is the thing you said about drinking water. You should actually only drink 1.5-2 liters of water a day. Maybe more if you train much, but you should have 1.5-2 litera as a key rule. If you drink to much you will start peeing out important vitamins and minerals and that will also make you tired.
this honestly works with any sport, making sure you're pushing yourself and realistically doing what you need for YOUR sport. like im a dancer so i do improve dancing and run routines over and over again so when i have to do them once, it's not as hard
I have the technique I have the speed the power the shooting the strength and the passing but im missing the most important thing.. stamina. This video really helped.
