Thanks brother ya the homeowner said he would clean up to keep the price down so I advised him to lay paper or he was going to question his life's decisions for a couple of days.

The angle head might need new blades, might need to recenter and adjust blades, mud might be too watery or framing is kind of off so drywall is off and causing you to leave more mud on one side.

Less water similar to 1st coat boxing mud.

For smooth level 4 yes for texture just 2" and one coat with the 3".

I have used it super easy for angles it feels like your running the Glazier. The boxes feels a little awkward at first but for big jobs its a time saver. For me it only makes sense if you do big commercial projects or customs were you can leave the system on site with out worrying of it getting stolen.

I have had one before couldn't get use to the twisting movement. The mudshoot by dewalt looks like a better alternative but twice as much.

I'm a carpenter by trade but i hung and taped our last 5 houses by myself and after the second house I bought a mud runner and never looked back. I will admit it takes getting use to but it takes the work out of it.

@@chethans7491 I have a mud runner and I cant get it to stop dropping mud everywhere. i sqeeze a little and bang, it throws mud everywhere

@@properties-4846 I had that problem when I mixed the mud to thin, or if you do a full twist and go to slow.

Chet Hans I’ll give it another shot , but I was getting super frustrated with it ready to switch to the throttle box. That’s how I found this video lol
