When you’re running an agency with multiple responsibilities and staff to look after, you can very easily find yourself getting dragged along day-to-day, with efficiency slipping without you even realising it. People can end up in roles where there's a lack of accountability and process, activities aren’t being monitored properly and things are made unnecessarily complicated.
But recruitment isn’t black and white; there are different ways you can do things and there isn’t one correct route, which does make things difficult. Sometimes we think we’ve got a good process in place, but actually it’s stunting the growth of the agency.
