How to S Rank Glumstone the Giant 

I S Ranked Glumstone for the trophy on PlayStation. There's a cheese method you can do in phase 2 standing directly underneath the puppet hand on the right using the spread shot. The hit box is on the puppet not on the arm, so when his arm is up you can run as far right as you can, then weapon lock so you can look left without moving out of the safe zone. Then aim straight up with spread. The floor gnomes never spawn directly beneath you in that spot, the spread shot will catch the ones in the air jumping towards you, and as long as you are facing left the lowering puppet arm never reaches your hit box 😊

Hey dude, glad to see you're still doing these guides. Although I've somehow managed to S-Rank majority of the bosses (and the ones that are left I'll probably _never_ beat) I still watch your guides, there's been so many useful tips here that I use on replays. Like the Phase 1 bear stuff here.

I've S ranked him before and his third phase is my favorite in the entire game as well. And the editing at 2:26 made me laugh.

There is a trick to getting around that worst case scenario in Phase 3 as Cuphead and Mugman. All you need to do is make sure you have your super meter filled, but not all the way, spawn a P. Turret in advance around the middle, parry it to give yourself a boost, and air dash to reach the platform on the other side. No need to pray that a pink dart is shot out.

I decided to one to a rank all the bosses in the game and the dlc. After days I managed to complete them all. Thanks for giving me motivation with these guides I wouldn’t have done it without you.

Honestly, this is a very useful guide, as someone who's played cuphead myself and tried so many strats, I can confirm that the weapons justo said that are good (twist up, roundabout, crackshot and charge) are ALL really great for glumstone, for me personally, I prefer using roundabout for mainly the first and second phases (crackshot for the 1st phase to deal with the gnomes) and ONLY crackshot for that final phase to ensure that I'm constantly damaging the stomatch, smoke bomb to dodge the attacks easily and super art 1 to deal with him easily, this is a really well made guide and you should be proud Justo for making this! I do have one thing to say though and that is converge can be used pretty effectively for glumstone the giant too, in fact, I S ranked glumstone with JUST converge only without any charms, super arts or secondary weapons, other than that, this is a pretty made well made guide, good job Justo for yet another great guide for those who are in need!

Most helpful tip here was that, you can actually know whether the skeletons will be parryable or sink??? I’m keeping that one in the old cranium for next time

I just learned that if you have the dlc and want the theme song to be the original one, you can go to the options then visuals setting and change the title screen there

I like to use roundabout for the second phase because you can ensure all your bullets are hitting and can move freely

Recently got the DLC, and man was this useful. Crack Shot and Twist Up are definitely the way to go. I kept trying with Chaser, but it was barely hitting the hands in the second phase, unlike Twist Up which made it fly by.

there is actually a trick for the 3rd fase to make it really really easy if you dash when going in glumstones mouth then when ur in the mouth u have to wait a little like half a second then 2x jump with chalice do a ex then dash then u should be flying and go to a corner and hit him with roundabout

For the bear attack at 2:49, you can bring whetstone to parry off the gnome spikes right as they appear, which gives enough time for them to disappear and you can get back on the platforms. Whetstone is also a good defensive maneuver for final phase where if you’re stuck on one side of the map and there are no platforms to jump off of, as long as you parry on the ulcer when it’s moving towards you and dash you can safely make it past a length of 3 platforms.

Yes, I have S ranked Glumstone before, wasn't too bad when I used Ms. Chalice, crackshot, and converge as my loadout. Mostly used crackshot but converge helped for phase 1 and even phase 2 a little. I think it took me less than 20 tries if I'm not mistaken?

I remember this time when I was doing well in s ranking him until I fell into the stomach acid because it was to long of a distance and I hit him with one more shot and then he died. So in other words, he instantly died after one shot when the s rank was ruined.

No s rank yet, but an A rank on the first try will do

Sad to say, but the only DLC bosses I S ranked were the Moonshine Mob (second try) and Ester Winchester (after dying 20+ times).

Personally, Glumstone is the #1 Hardest Boss in the entire game to S-Rank. The Second Phase is what specifically destroys my run consecutively.
