great advice, just don't use a dry towel, need a drying aid for sure for lub. just picked up some ceramic detailer to try the other week from Autosave, really liked the QD and used it for a while. For warm days, i have Gyeon Water Spot remover on standby 👍
When that works for you anyway d you are happy with it. Perfect. Not everybody has a blower of course so the idea is to help and prevent scratches, and most are made in the drying process. Regards, Y.
Blow drying is my preference but not always practical, however tried this technique with gyeon quick detailer, brilliant excellent results, trick is don’t use too much detailer. This technique is much quicker and better results, used after washing with Bathe, will use CURE @ 50% on my premium cars.
It will not interfere with a coated car. Interfere with application of a coating? I don’t get that question because before applying any type of coating a decontamination process and at least a single polishing stage is required. This will remove all type of sealants or Quick Detailers anyway. Regards, Y.
In my ceramic coating pamphlet guide it says I can top the coating ( ONE Evo ) with Cure after an hour, but in e-mail correspondence with Gyeon I was told Cure can go after 24h . So, which one is true ? Thx
When applying coating, high spot can occur. They will become highly visible after at least 12h and can still be corrected by using Q² Primer or similar light polish by hand. In the case of using cure 1 hour after coating application, it might hide potential highspot, and you may see them only after washing your vehicle for the first time 14 days after. And then it will be more difficult to correct it. Therefore, to answer your question: - Can I use Q²M Cure right after applying my coating? Yes, recommended when the car needs to be used as soon as possible. - However if you have the possibility, we would keep the car to dry 24h, inspect after that time, if nothing require any correction, apply Q²M Cure and use the car.
@@GYEON_official hello sorry for the inconvenience but could you tell me that is it fine to wax the car by hand. After using the q2m ceramic detailer as a drying aid and if there are specifications of which kind of waxes could be used ?
In general yes, they all can be used on a wet panel and a dry panel. They have different results in terms of performance but all serve great as a drying aid. We want to give people options so they can choose the most appropriate solution for their needs. Regards, Y.
I have found it's easier to use Wet Coat + Blower for drying than using a drying aid which clogs up my Gyeon towels once they do that it's hard to restore the towels back to original condition even with dedicated MF wash + vinegar
Wetcoat and a blower for drying is great for sure but Gyeon QuickDetailer will not alter your drying towel in any way. It can be the case with Cure and CeramicDetailer if you really would never rinse your towel after use. But always choose what you are happy with and works for you. Regards, Y.
For sure! Just don’t overuse it on glass. What’s in the towel is enough otherwise you might create some smearing on glass. To make sure go over your glass at the end with a fresh microfibre. Regards, Y.
Great video! I learned a lot from you! Got myself a whole suite of Gyeon products for inside and out of my car! An unrelated question: I've used Gyeon lether coat on faux suede material, which after my research turned out to be fabric.. Obviously Gyeon fabric coat would be better, but just this one off should be alright, right?
Thank you for watching. LeatherCoat is not suited for fabrics of course. Give it a proper clean first with FabricCleaner and a brush, let it dry and then apply a layer of FabricCoat on your suede or fabric seats. Don’t spray inside the car unless you have masked the unneeded areas. Regards, Y.
