What is the best drying aid? Immediately after you are done washing a vehicle, while it’s still wet, a drying aid is a product that is applied on the car and assists with the manual towel drying process. A drying aid will add lubrication to the surface, preventing scratches, it will prevent water spots, it will boost gloss and slickness on your paint, and will help repel water and dust.

Pan! I need your advise now. My bottle of Elixir is soon empty. I think Elixir makes my car crazy slick, crazy glossy and excellent beading. I have 2 coats of CQuartz UK 3.0 and two coats of Gliss on my car. I watched your video and you state that Elixir isn't as good as the other ones at slickness and gloss so which one should i get? Just applied a base layer of Bead Maker on my vehicle over the weekend. The slickness that it provides is unbelievable. Super easy to apply as well. I live in Oklahoma City, OK. Before Bead Maker, my car would be covered in dust the next day after washing. It took about 3 days after applying Bead Maker for the dust to finally settle on the surface and not blow off while driving.

Question that many of us northerners have, as we are approaching the cold weather months (Chicago) where we are no longer able to wash our vehicles the traditional way due to freezing temperatures, if we go to a touchless carwash, which one of these products would be best to use after we get the car back in the garage? And as you know, living in Canada, the cold and salts limit our abilities to keep a car as clean as we want. Thank you as always!

What a timely video Pan. Based on a recent video you did about products you can get at nearby stores I picked up a couple of drying aids at my local Canadian Tire. Adam's regular pink quick detailer, Adam's graphene detailer and Autoglym Rapid Wax. I really did like the pink Adam's version and going to try the graphene one soon as I just did the Adam's spray graphene coating. The Autoglym speed wax was a really good option, like applying wax on a wet car but CT does not sell it anymore. I also tried Chemical Guys options and did not like any of them. They seem to require a lot more elbow grease to wipe off

I think it gets overlooked because its an old house hold/autozone brand vs the new age scented, cooling looking, designer bottle stuff with cool titles. But honestly, i like wax and dry better than Chemical Guys quick detail, bead maker and the ice/shine. Its really great stuff and works very well with water. I use an M18 blower to dry 90-95% of the way then wipe the rest in with wax and dry. I only bought it at advance auto because i ran out of my last beadmaker and didnt want to reorder as it attracts dust to much for people like myself without a garage. Ill by Wax and Dry again.

Best drying aid I've used to help dry the surface is still Optimum Opti-seal; while it lacks gloss vs new products, it's still magic at releasing water tension. Wolfgang Uber Rinseless mixed to detail spray strength is great at adding gloss and slickness as a drying aid and very cost effective, I got that tip from your channel a few years ago. 914 is a good detergent rinseless but doesn't add any gloss, might be good for drying after a tunnel wash where you anticipate the surface to still be dirty.

I’m getting good results from diluted Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash with ceramic infusion. (Blue). I use about three ounces per gallon of distilled water and I get great shine and slickness. The cost diluted is about .60 a pint.

Good video pan. Thanks for the chapters. Useful for me as I can focus on products for sale in my region.

Great video and am always in the market for a new product 😉 fairly interested the OG and tac systems ( never used their products). I really like to change my products around, depending on time of year and when my car was last cleaned. Keeps it interesting and fun for me. So I really do not have a go-to drying aid. However my favorites are AMMO hydrate, turtle wax ceramic wet wax, Wolfgang rinseless wash. Sometimes I mix a few products together and make my own cocktail. My favorite mixture was Wolfgang rinseless wash and carpro reload!! Super silk and glossy. I used to LOVE auto fanatic 007, but since Phil added the SiO2 I tend to find it too finiky and ended up passing it along to my brother. Great video !!

Cool I love the Wolfgang but never tried mixing reload in it. How exactly should I do that?
