I have had anal fissures for 2 years since December 2021. I happened to see your videos from July last year. I can say this out loud, after misdiagnosis from my house doctor from hemorrhoids to anal fissures, changing of medication. I have come to accept that the healing process for anal fissures needs time, mental comfort n proper meals, thanks for your videos. Since last July, I have been allowing my anal end to relax whenever I go to the toilet, I have been having only fruits for my lunch and that helps having soft stools and drink a lot of water to help for my digestion. With all these I managed to heal my fissure. Since this January I haven't been feeling any pain nor seeing fissures when I check my bottom end. I still continue to have my routine as it helps to have my comfortable days.

Thanks Albert. After 3 decades of suffering and multiple surgeries I'm finally starting to be okay now. I don't want to get off the meds though, because why fix something that works?🤷🏼‍♂️ The moment I go off the meds my poop gets hard and lumpy again and I become constipated. I'm sooo done with the trombo surgery (had millions of those) and the fissures. I'd rather not change anything now that I'm all healing up nicely from the absolutely hellish multiple marisectomy and my last severe fissures. I just don't want any more suffering nor take any chances. Even my wife feels better when I let her take my meds, her stool definitely improves. We really believe in miralax and psyllium.

Just found your channel. Just as Dr. Pimple Popper has brought dermatology to light, so you have taken the dark hidden area of proctology and that embarrassing thing we all do "poop" to a new light and understanding, with a lighthearted demeanor, taken out the embarrassment, and give sound, extremely helpful information to issues we can have on a regular basis!! There is a colace clear of any dyes that come with a reduced dosage. I think one pill is 50 mg instead of the usual 100mg. So if you want to cut back you can with those.

Hey Doc I have discovered a very effective way to remove between 90 to 95% of pain after a poop ..I have a usb powered vibrating egg I put the egg against my bum hole sit down and turn it on and amazingly the pain disappears .. I don’t know why this works but I swear it does….

Hi Doc. I have a skin condition called Lichen Sclerous. I'm sure you've heard of it. My anus skin is very fragile and when I poop it re-irritates it all the time. I just stared Colace and it does soften stool. My question is with a softer stool on a regular basis could I eventually heal that area? This has been going on a long time. I was recently finally diagnosed. Thank you.

Why does pranicura BURNS LIKE HELL. I feel like no one talks about this. Here is a lot of “people” saying that this makes the fissures heal but the burning sensation from this is very tormenting. I am going to try it though for 1 week. If doesn’t help me, I am returning the product.

I often don’t have a bowel movement daily. I do notice some foods trigger me to have soft BM’s. I also don’t always feel I fully empty. A physician recommended Miralx and fiber. What is your advice.

I took the whole box in 1 and a half month, i felt I was going opposite way , so I started with vaseline after food. Also I try to eat healthy, drink water, walk. But the past week I've been feeling a little uncomfortable, also I stopped taking my antiinflammatory medication 😢 but I don't feel like mine disposition were hard so my conclusion it's that when I stress out they show up 😢

I am really concerned and if anyone can help or have something similar please comment I thought i had rectal prolapse. But it may be hemorrhoids coming out. Feels like all the way around in a circle when i go to wipe or now i just dab tk avoid breeding. 75% of the time i manage to not bleed, and it takes awhile for whatever is coming out of my anus to go back in. But once in awhile i will seem to rupture something when dabbing after a poop, and I'll get a lot of blood. Its beight red and I'm confident it has something to do with either just inside or just outside my anus. Like, I'll get stand up off the toilet and drip blood all over the seat. I have to stand up and just wait 10 min or so for it to stop. My underwear gets wrecked. Once i think its slowing or stopping I'll go lay down on couch on my side, hoping my anus protrusion goes back in. Usually it will. Does anyone get blood like this? Its almost like i tear something even with dabbling, and try not to ever wipe. But its a lot more blood than just a few drops or a streak on the TP. I dont have any cramps or pain either, nothing that id think is an issue elsewhere in my tract. Maybe i cause a fissure sometimes or something.

I felt a burning sensation when I applied Pranicura and had to wash away and waited for some days and tried again and again but same result.I tried Hydrocortisone,Nifedipine,Lidocaine but no help for my internal and external hemorrhoids for the past 3 years.I stopped eating meat and diary products,sugar and refined food. The best thing which worked for me is taking a shower 3 times a day and no more pain for the past 7 months but I still shower after a bowel movement and before going to bed.All the doctors in Sandiego and Northern California told me to use sitzbath but when you explained how bad it is I stopped using and I felt a big improvement .I am 73years old and can stay with this diet for the rest of my life.
