I love the piece you didn't like at 7:35! But...my ADHD arse was listening at 1.25x playback speed... At normal speed i agree with you! That being said can I sample this video?
This Video was very helpful! as a beginner producer i love using samples and creating a whole new wave i never knew how to do it fluently like this. I always do things by ear and what sounds good but i love the way you break down each step and this helped out a lot i watched it about 3 to 4 times to really get it down for muscle memory because FL can be very tricky if you dont know how to use it properly. SO thank you and God bless!
When the window pops up dude that gives you all those knobs to fool with take that knob in the middle slight off to the right I think its labeled like time mule or something like that and fool with it. I found by doing that I could get that southern hardcore rapid tick noise I hear in all those rap beats and you can do it to anything too I just really like doing it to the hi hat. Try it out and have fun!
This video is perfect!! Exactly what I was looking for information wise, chilled vibe and straight to the point. On top of all that the beat started sounding pretty hard towards the end 😂🤝 thank you.
very good instruction and made it very interesting, I always wanted to learn how to sample and I will be adding this to my library so that I can learn thank you very much
Very good tutorial my man! You can also take the knob I think it's called time mule and add that to your hi hat for that southern hardcore sounding fast ticking noise and you can control how many ticks it makes so you can do like triplets and stuff it's a wild program to fool around with. I like to take my beats and down tune the hell out of them so that pitch knob is my best friend for that.
Dude you made this simple as fuck man! Props for showing multiple methods and examples too! Think I’m ready to try my first beat with a sample of another song! 🙏
Thanks bro! Just other tutorials I wanted to work on mainly. Planning to do some in the future though. Probably just not as much as before as videos get less views typically.
hello dillon, congratulations for all the videos, keep it up you deserve more, I take the opportunity to ask you a question, why when I try to change the tempo of the sample, does the sample get shorter or longer?
