I’ve got a question! I have a Samsung RS265TDRS that uses a DA41-00668A main board, but when I look it up on Samsung parts or anywhere for that matter I can only find DA41-00670C that is apparently compatible with my fridge. I want to make sure before ordering, has my old board model been phased out for this newer one and will it be compatible for sure?
Thank you for this video. it looks very easy. BUT! Actually removing those white plugs is more difficult than you show. they seem to be held in by a tab on the side. does that tab need to squeezed real tight and then the plug pulled out? OR does it need to be separated with a small screwdriver or something and then pull out the white connector ? Anyway . can you show or describe how to remove those white plugs. it will be very helpful to all of us who wish to repair our own Samsung refrigerator ?
@@jessemccarthy05 hi Jesse. I did a how to search and I found you. It has been a while. As o remember I was trying to change the motherboard in my Samsung refrigerator because the ice maker stopped working. I did figure out how to remove those tricky little tabs that hold the plug that needed to be disconnected from the circuit board. And replacing the board was successful. Your video was a big help. However, I changed the ice maker then the circuit board and the ice maker STILL DOES NOT WORK! I now wonder if it is in the water supply valve that is in the water filter apparatus. That whole unit needs to be replaced and it is expensive. So I have it on the back burner. We just buy bagged ice and put it into the ice holder in the door. What puzzles me is that there seems to be no power to the ice maker. I have run down the wires from motherboard and there doesn't seem to be any current at the ice maker unit. So I wonder it or has to come from the water filter unit. I'm DIY guy. Not an expert. So I just do what I can. Samsung makes it very hard to service their refrigerator so we are trapped into paying one of their technicians to do a house call. It is frustrating! But thank you for reaching out and asking me. Samsung model rf26x in demo mode. When I reset it it goes back to demo mode after 3 seconds. How do I test the door panel board or is it in the main board
Samsung RT45KSSW fridge compressor over heats. Right side body gets hot. Main control PCB led starts blinking 5 times after few hours. Cooling deteriorates and compressor gets untouchable hot. Fridge is not inverter type.
I have a Samsung Model# RF4289HARS Refrigerator where I changed my Wifi router and my wifi is now not working. Tried several time to reset the password to no avail. Is their a Wifi module that needs to be replaced or do I have to replace the control board? Thanks.
Such a waste... Anyway, I'll have to troubleshoot my RB33N340NSA/EF, but I think the problem lies in the Door "Display Assembly", that's where the Electronics Burning Smell comes from...
