We also block our cards so we have to turn them on before making a purchase. It slows your roll and protects your cards from being used by thieves. I also put things in my cart and tell myself i'll buy it later like when I have enough for free shipping. Most of the time, I no longer want the thing later.
If you aren't sure you have a subscription, just replace the card. Report it lost. That should limit the recurrence, unless it is an ACH type transaction.
Good advice, i have some app and lots of emails but believe me i only buy what i needs. They can show up everywhere on my phone not going to catch me. I'm saving saving to buy my house 🏠
My wife and I got rid of a lot of our subscriptions, I only kept my amazon account because I only use it to save money on stuff we don't have in my town...We don't have to drive or travel anywhere to buy stuff. Also, I'm not sure if this is the best plan but to raise our credit my plan is to get a couple prepaid cards and only use them to pay our rent, then use our cash to pay the card off 100% each month.
It depends on what you mean by prepaid cards. I would suggest just getting one credit card putting a tank of gas on it and paid off every month. It’s really that simple.
