Girllllll I am just realizing I've never seen a mustard seed before - yet remember all of the adages that use mustard seed like having faith the size of a mustard seed. Thanks for this visual!

That verse was exactly what I was thinking of when I was collecting them! I guess they ate mustard greens back in those days, too. My son tasted one and said it tasted like mustard...lol

I have never thought to store seeds from flowers that died. I also never knew how, thanks for showing how easy it is!

We can save a lot of money by doing this. I'll be saving dianthus seeds next from my front yard . 🌺💐

@@HomeCentsWithNell definitely, I am just getting into flowers but it seems even easier than saving seeds from some veggies

I just did the research and you are right! I had planned to put some ground cherries in that area anyway, so I had to pull them, but it's good to know that they can regrow and survive temps down to 20C.

Home Cents With Nell glad you know now you don’t have to pull at least all of them out. You did a great job by collecting some seeds anyway. Blessings

Thank you for the info. I’m going to try to save seed from a purslane that found its way into my herb/calendula pot.😊🌱

Ah purslane! I just realized that it was edible but haven't brought myself to taste it yet. That's a great idea!

Home Cents With Nell same here. I haven’t brought myself to taste the purslane either. In the back of my mind I keep thinking what if it’s not purslane.🤦🏽‍♀️
