Here I show how to get inside a solenoid to recover copper
Hi, my name is James and I love scrapping metal for money. I scrap it all, copper, brass, aluminum etc...
Come join me on my scrapping adventures where I share how I scrap items for easy money. I sometimes will go street scrapping or dumpster diving looking for scrap metal.
Please have a look at my scrapping videos and I hope I earn your subscription to my channel.
Thank you for stopping by and God bless y'all

I'm going to be your 1.07kth+ sub. One day I'm going to say 'Remember when there were only a thousand of us?' Okay, 1.07k of us? +1? I've been following you for a while. You gave some of my favorite scrappers a shout out on the first video that I watched. I'm going to say hey to Moose Scrapper. His was my first scrap channel experience. Good dude. Haven't seen anything from him in quite some time. I hope he's doing well.

I prefer to crush the lip of the plastic spool. Everything done in seconds. Have you ever made a video on mining a Plug "Coil"? I haven't messed with them because the older ones have a poured plastic or polymer resin which is tough to kill

This is the solenoid from a car or truck starter-motor? Where else can they be found?
@scrapitall200
@scrapitall200 Год назад
Yes, this is a solenoid from a vehicle (I don’t remember where I found it) every starter will have one, but some are internal of the starter, others are separate from the starter like this one. Ford uses these types of solenoids in cars and trucks and you’ll always find them bolted somewhere under the hood. Thank you for watching.
@invisibilianone6288
@invisibilianone6288 11 месяцев назад
These types of solenoids are used in many applications,, Electric winch controls Older power circuits for off road lights, and things that need higher amperage to operate,

Good quick and easy method! Might be able to tear off one end of the plastic of the coil with pliers or side cutters, and slip the roll of copper off the spool. Have done that with other smaller solenoid coils.
