Yes those are the main keys. A quality low bleed poly ink and low cure temp. A couple of other things to consider. Use quality garments. A lot of the low price polyester garments in the wholesale market have terrible migration issues. I will not slander companies but one of the worst is in Augusta, Georgia. Catch the garments off the belt if you don't have a long outfeed and do not let the print tack together. Lay the garment flat to cool. Make sure if you stack them hot, lay them out individually or in several small stacks alternating the stack order. Polyester garments retain heat and stacking a huge stack hot can lead to migration. Another problem with this is ghosting of the print on the garment it is touching. The dye in polyester shirts when applied to heat and inks, "outgases". This chemical gas can actually lead to premature outgassing of the garment touching it and it will ghost the image into it. Oh yeah, do not over flash. Most flashes are on/off without temp controls. The average flash runs 400-500 degrees.

No- flash and dryer are for any screen printing on textiles

Polyester doesn’t need one- nylon though will need a “nylon catalyst” to adhere the ink to the substrate. I believe fusion 180 ink does not need a catalyst though and will adhere to nylon on its own-

Xotic Klothing hi- good question- but no- in this video we just used low bleed ink- it cures at a lower temp- and has great stretch properties for polyester performance shirts.

Yes the poly ink is plastisol...there are several types of plastisol ink you can use...low cure...low bleed...puff ink...opaque...general use...etc...you should ask the people you buy or are going to start buying from what type of plastisol they recommend and what they sell.

Jason Enz sure can- we chock the colors is the design if we can get away with it - it makes wet on wet a lot easier....the grey was a little lighter at the end- but still passable! Yes new shop;) we got a new location- 2300 sq feet for only $275 more per month...so couldn’t pass it up...thanks for watching and commenting!

I think the design was 12 inches wide by about 11-1/2 inches tall...

SeekingSelf are the double lined? Reversible? If they are double lined then the top layer of the shorts may not stick to the platen while the bottom layer does...what color of shorts? What color of ink/print?
