I am late to this video but it’s so helpful, would you be able to do like a topic on dissertation topic search and/or writing a dissertation especially if it’s the first time. Thanks in advance😊
I was stuck with my research project report and so have been binge watching your videos today. I really am lucky to have come across your channel in my third year of university, and I wish I had come across your channel sooner! You are such an inspiration and I really hope to get a first this year so your advice has really been a game changer. Thank you, Dr Amina!🥰
I legit have an assignment due this week on the efficacy of low carbohydrate diets in type 2 diabetics and was struggling sooo much to find good relevant research papers. Didn't really know effective methods for searching for papers either. Thank you so much for this video. Was really well put together and concise :))
Thanks for creating this awesome channel and helping the amateurs in research. I request you to create step by step process of writing a case report, case series, systematic reviews. Take us through the process of each step in them, including all the nuances.
This was so helpful! Im in 3rd year and didn’t know about the similar articles section and search alert system! The uni just never teach these things. But im so glad I found this channel, definitely earned a subscriber 👍🏻👍🏻 you’re so inspirational!’
Tell you what? I understand how exhausting and even daunting it can be to come up with the perfect paper. But Mary (maryjoykimmy@gmail.com) is always there to help. She writes high-grade, plagiarism-free papers for students. Email her; you won't get disappointed. Have I mentioned how super-friendly she is?
Thanks for posting. I struggle with finding articles for my assignments. I use related articles and cited articles but I never understood how to use keywords. I’ll try out the AND, OR, NEAR, in my search and see if I find articles I can use!!
Thankyou so much for taking the time to make these videos. They give me confidence to tackle things that otherwise come across as daunting in my own research ! Best wishes
Thank You very much Dr. coming up with very interesting topic. I had little confusion of literature search which was wiped out with your valuable video.

Hey Dr Yonis, I just had a few questions for you: 1. How important do you think it is to learn programming for statistical analysis (R or Python) as opposed to using programs with built in features (Excel or SPSS)? 2. How did you go about finding a supervisor for your PhD? I am looking to apply for my honours soon and my PhD following that and have been having some trouble finding potential supervisors? Any tips on how to contact them or for formatting an email to them? (This might make a really helpful video!) 3. I'm not sure how the UK system works but in Australia an honours year is usually required for entry to a PhD program. Did you do an honours year and if so, do you have any tips for new student researchers? 4. What is your field of research? Thanks a lot, your videos are really great!
1. I think it depends on what you want to go into afterwards (if doing a PhD). Think about the programme that will provide you with the most transferrable skills in other industries. 2. I think this would be a good video actually! I would say that try to look for departments in universities that you wouldn't mind joining and then look into the different research projects on offer and go from there. Look at what the supervisor has published recently, this will give you a good indication of how active the lab is. 3. We do a Master's first (but not compulsory) - it is possible to go straight from a 3 year undergraduate degree to a PhD. 4. I'm currently in between researching actin protein structure and education. Hope that helps :)
I always write Research papers. I love doing them. I am a Chinese studies and history student in university. I am becoming a Scholar and it requires me to do research and studying. I also have to skip through books and data bases. Going through data bases is hard.
Wow This seems kinda informative.i really appreciate you and I would love if you give me some advises or hints regarding research papers. It would be a valuable gift to me. Thank you Wish you a happy day.

Factors affecting Turnaround Maintenance (TAM) success in Oil and Gas Industries. What library or online database will help me find the most recent articles related to my topic. I use Google Scholar but I haven't found many articles related to my topic. Thank you for your advice.
I am bit confused that module assignments should be of same topic as of dissertation and it's just a continuation of process. Or both topics hould be differnt
