Hi guys, here’s how to Securely Convert Legacy BIOS system to UEFI Firmware and Enable Secure Boot to Upgrade to Windows 11.
Before continue this procedure ensure that your laptop’s motherboard supports both legacy and UEFI boot options, if you are not sure then go to your PC’s BIOS and check the support information about your laptop’s motherboard.
And also, this tutorial will help to fix “MBR2GPT: Failed to update ReAgent. xml, please try to manually disable and enable WinRE”

I know this is an older video, but I cannot seem to find the option to change from legacy to uefi. It's not in any of my settings in my BIOS. The closest I can find is something called RAID mode, which has IDE, RAID, and AHCI. However, all of them keep my computer on a black screen with a white cursor on the top. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

In my situation my disks are already GPT. Whenever I go in the Bios it shows that Boot Mode is in Legacy Support and Boot PrIority is in UEFI First. And in Legacy below there is SATA HDD. Whenever I go in windows it shows that my Bios Mode is in UEFI, they are not the same why is that? And is it safe to switch Legacy to UEFI in my situation? Need Answer thanks!

Sounds like every thing is "OK" no need to change anything! Does not matter "Legacy below there is SATA HDD" Make sure secure boot is "ON"

Hi, thanks for the video. But it doesn't work for my pc although i never get any error on cmd or another steps. After the disk convert process i chose UEFI mode on BIOS and hit F10 for the save changes. But my pc can not start. The screen is toggling between black screen and lenovo text.(like in your video between 7:30 and 7:33) Please help i want to play FIFA23. But i can't see the Secure Boot on the BIOS. When I change the BIOS mode from legacy to UEFI then i can see the secure boot. But my computer can not start with UEFI mode. I thought I could solve this problem with the disk convert process you described. But it doesn't work. :(

How many partitions does your hard disk have? Your hard disk should have three partitions to continue(Such as System reserve partition, Main System partition and Recovery partition)

If your motherboard doesn't support UEFI firmware then it will not work on your computer.

If there is a problem with Disk 1, you can temporarily take out your Drive 1, and then try again!

@@his0kaae720 yep but not the best option. you should format and reinstall os. while the installation you need to delete everything from every disk, then turn off the pc, remove all the disk (except the one where you're gonna install the os) then turn on the pc and install os without any problem. (after installation you can reinsert disk in the motherboard) sorry for my english xD hope you understand

@@asatechnical sir . It's so laughing matter. My Windows 10 had been running. My insider program update as well daily updated. But when i tried to change legacy mode to uefi last week( it shows successfully changed in cmd command prompt). Very happily i restarted my laptop,there it stuck. Only the cursor blinking in left corner of the screen........ Now only i can open the bios by entering f2 key.thats only after that again and again it cursor blinking. Will u pls sir ,save from this disaster? And there's no any options to-do change legacy mode to uefi or uefi to legacy in my laptop DELL latitude d630.

@@irfanilal8303 most likely a boot up error. check to see the boot load order in bios. you can try loading with boot usb (changing priority to usb) to confirm this is the problem if it loads right that way or you can set boot order to your main drive which houses operating system.

First you need to make sure that your computer's motherboard must be UEFI supported. If your computer's motherboard does not support UEFI firmware then you should not do this.

My issue is that with my laptop in legacy mode, the keyboard isn't recognized until after Windows is started. I physically can't enter the bios, and the UEFI option isn't on the advanced options either on the start up screen
