It is wiser for middle class people to buy brand new one segment lower car but don't buy second hand. If people don't know how to understand cars they should buy new. My brother bought used car and spend lots of money on it. I instead bought lower segment new car and never spend any money on maintenance. Best purchase. Now I am learning so much about cars that I have confidence to buy used car in the future. But, I would still prefer to buy new car within my budget.

I generally feel lazy writing comments/reviews on RU-vid videos, but after watching this, I couldn't resist myself, as I myself have a passion of driving and owns couple of cars and have vast driving experience in India / USA and UK... Sir.. U forgot to mention about one major thing. How to determine if the vehicle is an accident vehicle?? For example, if repair work is done on the bonnet, pillars, doors etc after an accident?? I feel that is an important aspect that needs to be addressed while buying a second hand car...
If it is a accidental car, check Insurance record. If not done under Insurance, work will be dirty and you can detect it with decent investigation by self, And if accidental and work is done at a good service , it doesn't truly matter untill and unless engine is not damaged at any cost. Engine kaise pata chalega- drive for a longer time, owner ko bola 2 ghanta me gaadi chalunga, Petrol me kharcha karunga, agar owner / dealer mana karta hai to waha se nikal jao, aur jo decent hai, wo dega.

I generally buy used cars under 5 years, run less than or around 50k kms with service history. For example Original price around 5.2L in 2011 i10 magna had run 25K kms with service history. Bought at 3.2L in 2015. Completed 65K kms. Sold price in 2021 2.2L Original price 2017 Honda BRV VX 10-11L on road. On meter 29k kms with service history. Bought at 6.5L in 2021 Selling in 2025-26 at 3.5L to 4.5L

Just take the car to service center and pay the inspection charges. They will give u the estimate for repair. If Dealers is not giving permission to take the car for check up. Leave the car

Most car gets facelift/discontinue these days after 1-3 years. Ford engines are built to run for lacks of KMs. Although ecosport is discontinued, the service station are still working & parts are also available with Boodmo. As most people have similar concern like you, the car is available at a very cheap deal, the ecosystem on EV will be build in next 5 years. So If one can delay purchase of IC engine car, with this robust & safe car, than why now. Also this car has been sold in the same condition for 10 years, In metro cities, finding both original/compatible parts are not an issue.

Sir suspension ko check karne ke liye (Ball joint and lower arm bushing) aap gadi ko static condition me front tyres ko dono side's se one by one push and pull karke bhi check kar sakte hai isse excess play hoga to suspension system fault ka easily pata chalega
Most of the dealers won't give cars for test drive.Even if we detect some problem in car, dealer won't accept bargain, coz they know they can sell it to any fool and demand is also high. The content is good and if u are not confident then one car take a mechanic along for checkup for a few bucks. My point is if u are lucky for a test drive u can avoid faulty cars but dont expect bargain. Also most of the second hand cars are not in good condition. Further one should prefer to buy from owner rather than dealer as dealers are professional crooks. Lastly go for second hand only if fresh one is out of budget.
