It really depends on the seller as both FBM and FBA have their own pros and cons and which ones are pros and cons and pros for some sellers are sometimes considered as cons by other sellers. Hello jungle scout. Many thanks for the amazing contents. I hv my seller account based on AZ but for now i want to start wholesale. So for whosale do i need to take corporation or a resale certificate will be enough to start wholesale. Or i do need to open a corporation? Waiting for ur kind reply Thanks in advance

Hello Jungle Scout, I started selling on Amazon recently but now they made my account on hold and ask for invoice..as i buy these books from local shop I don't have any invoice? What should I do? Is there any method to obtain the invoice or any other method to sell without invoice? Please help

You can send the shop receipt, they just want to know it was purchased

Hello jungle scout thanks for being helpfull as alwayes. I wonder to know about LLC. My seller account is from turkey and already i have applied for LLC in DE so i ll get my LLC in near future. So i want to start with wholsale do i need to take a resale certificate or with LLC i can do wholesale ? Waiting for ur kind respond Thanks in advance

The requirements will depend on the wholesaler/supplier/brand owner of the products that you will be reselling.

This was a great video! But my problem is that i have a house full of fabulous books and my thought was to use them to sell but i don't have receipts, no receipts, just life long collection of books and most are hardbacks, w jackets, in almost new condition. So if i don't have "receipts", will i be able to sell them on Amazon?

How should the books be labelled? There tends to be multiple prices on the outside cover and sometimes inside

@@junglescout Pretty much. So I know I need to label over the barcode but I am finding MSRP in other spots as well. Even printed inside of the book sometimes.

Hmm... There are books with more than one barcode on the back cover. Amazon requests that those additional barcodes be covered with blank labels (so warehouse workers won't mistakenly scan the wrong barcode). It is helpful to save any blank labels for this purpose.

HI I am completely new to this. I have two things I need help understanding. I have a large personal collection of old comic books that I have gathered over the years. They don't have bar codes of any kind on them or any recipets etc. Can I sell them on Amazon? The second thing that is really confusing me is I saw a video saying I need to buy labels from something called GSI for each of my products. If I have a series of comic book for instance The Amazing Adventures of the Jungle Scouts would I need to buy different labels for each issue in the series eg Issue 1 has its own label code, 2 has a different one, 3 is also different and so on. This seems insanely expensive as I only have one copy of each Or does it work that I would by One labe Code and use it for all the different individual issues? I'm confused and my brain hurts. Please help.

Hello. ISBN may or may not be required to sell ebooks. Retailers such as Amazon do not require it for ebooks. If you plan to sell your ebook through Amazon and are not looking to sell print copies, you can do without one.

@@junglescout Hi I am even more confused. I never mentioned ebooks. These are very old vintage physical comic books. There is no ISBN etc. Please can you read my question again. I really need help. And you didnt answer either part of my questions.

Hello. I see what you mean here. If the book that you wanted to sell was printed before 1970, it might not have an ISBN. If this is the case, you can request an exemption. You can check here about amazon's requirement to sell books for more info: sell.amazon.com/learn/how-to-sell-books#:~:text=What%20types%20of%20books%20can%20I%20sell%20on%20Amazon%3F,old%20used%20books%20into%20cash. You can also check how to get an ISBN here: selfpublishing.com/isbn-number-self-published-book/ Lastly, GS1 are correct. But for books, the correct product identifier is the ISBN.

I have a question? So let's say I go and find 100 books from thrift stores.Thats 100 barcodes at 4.99 a piece. THAT 500 DOLLARS ON BARCODES ALONE.How is the profitable?

To make money from selling used books, you need to sell them for more than you paid, including barcode costs. You can do this by researching what people want to buy and setting the right price. Selling books on the internet can reach more people. You can also sell more books by offering a discount for buying many books at once. 😊
