The question I keep coming back to is why supplement business. This interview states it will be harder to sell supplement products compared to other ecommerce products (plus additional risk of compliance). Is the answer because the income dwarf other ecommerce products. Also, we need to factor in its likely we are heading into slowing economy especially for 2024 and how does supplement business do in that environment. Its been almost 15 years since US economy went into period where consumers were hesitant to buy things other than necessities. Thanks for great video.
My opinion, those that get into that industry either are familiar or know it or are users and they feel like they have a passion/basic understanding. Thanks for dropping by!
If by analysis, you mean proper next steps, how to find manufacturers, considerations for markup, and making claims, etc - all before you’ve signed on the dotted line or put down a huge deposit, I’d suggest this resource: go.blueoceanregulatory.com/getsset
Do you think it is worth me trying to create a supplement business if I am big into trying to maintain my health, I've got enough supplements for personal use in my possession to start my own health food store and I'm wanting to start some kind of business? I'm not sure where to start but if I were to think of one area in particular I'm passionate about it is supplements and natural health stuff.
It’s a big decision for sure and you don’t want to jump in unless it’s something you really want to explore or would regret not doing so. Some clients we work with are in a similar position and work with us to figure it out to see if it’s viable or not.
