Gives me a lot of hope. I have a 9-5 and me and my team started a Shopify store, it's moving very slowly but has gotten some sales. On top of that I wanty own brands as well so thank you for saying that after a few years you became successful. Energizing statement
Great wisdom when it comes to e-commerce. Everyone wanting to begin an online business needs to listen to you. You possess a lot of knowledge. Once again, great input and insight going into the latter part of the year. Thanks again Tatiana!
I did enjoy this video. It may be because it's one of your videos. I kind of knew it was sponsored when I heard the name Alibaba mentioned repeatedly. You are a spokesperson for them so I get it, however for the small business person (hence) it's video title Alibaba may not be the source for inventory. Alibaba has a very high MQO or is it MOQ, anyway, you must purchase a lot of pieces. A lot!. They have minimums of 500, 1000, 3000 pieces of each color of each size. They sure do. That's a lot of inventory a whole lot. When I heard you talk about them I said to myself she's a spokesperson for them but has she ever had to use them. They require you to purchase so much inventory. Imagine if I sold shoes and I'm just starting a business a start up or a company that has a pretty good customer base imagine I sold flip flops let's go with that. 1000 of size 6 in the color red, 1000 of size six in the color blue, then black (each) Really!? I know of an American Wholesaler who sale by the box multiple colors fitting sizes say 6-10 the other box multiple colors size 7-13. The box totaling 36 pair per box. I think that's better. I think a small business realistically could sale 36 pairs of flip flops. Yes it can grow to selling thousands a day but I think you see my point Something like that is better. Well I think it is. Remember that's just for size 6. Or whatever size it may be from Alibaba. Alibaba require the buyer to buy a lot of inventory a whole lot. I'd like to see a video from you soon about start ups be aware of wholesales with large MQO. Bye Tatiana.
I always love your content and you've been M.I.A for a while but I am now a Founder and CEO of a new enterprise, Ellen-Queens Enterprises. Hope to collaborate on some deals with you soon! Thank you.
My issue with the private labeling was not being disciplined enough to account for monies coming in and going out. I sold all my product and I couldn’t gauge my success.
I have gotten the ball rolling for my business but came into a bump in the road. I only have enough money for inventory and not shipping. I found a reputable freight forwarder and have a quote now. I’ve decided to just test out my samples I’ve ordered and save until I have enough for both shipping and inventory😊
Thank you for your videos Tatiana💚 Can you please make video of the challenges new seller can face doing FBA. Most videos out there are about the good side of doing business with Amazon.. would like to know what we need to be careful with - picking the product, inventory transportation, listing, marketing..ect.... Also how does Covid affected the business?... Does it take longer to receive the inventory? Custom problems? Thank you!
Hey Tatiana! Relatable content. I have a question: I want to have a name for my parent company and launch several products under different brand names. These brand names contain the parent company's name and then something in addition. If I get my brand approval on Amazon for the cosmetic branch of my parent company, by giving Amazon the pictures of my product that show this brand, Is it okay for me to register with the USPTO my Parent Company's name? Look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for this info! I will check Alibaba after I narrow down. Do I want to do jewelry or vitamin supplements. do you have any videos on how to research niche products?
Thank you so much tatiana.. This is very informative totorial to choose the right brand. Is it important to choose a product that is.. 1- Applicable to differentiate. 2- Under the same category. 3- Able to manufacture in the same factory.
I think it could be both! :) Ex: Keurig has variations of coffee makers (1 product/ different variations) and Nike has multiple products under its brand (Shoes, water bottles, backpacks, socks, sports bras, etc)
Bless you, you are such a beautiful intelligent and graceful woman, you deserve all the Universe has to offer. Thank you and your partner for such integrity..
Hey, Tatiana! First of all, love your videos. I really want to start my own PL with FBA. However, I live in Bulgaria and I guess selling in US from here is a bit more complicated. Can you make a video explaining how people from Europe can sell on US market? Thank you.
Great info here! I love how you replace the word "business" with brand. Ultimately for any company, and especially true for ecommerce, is being a recognizable place that consistently delivers a satisfying experience.
Business and brand are not necessarily the same things. A business could be a brand but does not need to be. There are businesses that don't do any branding, particularly B2B businesses.
I am so happy I found your channel 😍 You have taught me so much, I am so grateful. I feel like I am almost ready to start my e-commerce business and not feel so lost and helpless. Thank you so much!!
Hey Tatiana Everytime I watch your videos I feel inspired and motivated. I have set a goal to start Amazon FBA in 2021. I found a product that I think is great and I already ordered samples and loved the quality. However, its a kind of luxury product that I don’t want to sell cheap or lower my brand image. and for some reason I feel like selling that on Amazon will hurt my brand or people aren’t going to pay. I don’t know if I’m wrong and that’s just a limiting belief (I hope it is ) . I cant wait to hear your opinion. 💕💕
So how do various amazon sellers sell the actual brand name products? Is that not possible to break into? I don’t want to sell cheap knockoffs or put my own label on generic products. How would you source reputable real brands and become an amazon seller of them?
As a new seller, how difficult is it to get cosmetics ungated? I am in the process of starting a PL FBA business. Ex. I want to source body lotion off Alibaba, private label and sell on amazon?
I created a store in Shopify and am selling women clothes. I'm stuck on a name for my store. It's not necessarily a brand but just a store. What can I do to find the right name? I haven't opened my store yet because this has me stuck right now.

Hi Naseeb, here's a video I did on 6 ways to increase your Amazon sales revenue: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7PKF4OeEBxc.html I hope that helps
I think I’m missing something? I have found that alibaba’s shipping is extremely expensive. In most cases shipping is not attainable. I understand this is probably a paid partnership but I personally have attempted to communicate and or buy and it’s not as easy as the person says. I could be wrong. If anyone knows more please let me know
it depends on you on how you go about finding the right supplier. You can turn to China or you can find the source of your product from a local manufacturer Both methods have their inherent merits, you just need to find a supplier that meets your needs and suits your business interest. The pros of alibaba is that they have been dealing with a lot of Amazon sellers so they are already familiar with FBA specifications and guidelines.Sourcing your products from local suppliers has its own benefits. It lowers the transit time.
I’m starting a PL hair care business and I’m definitely stepping out on faith 🤞🏽🤞🏽✨hope to be sitting in your shoes this time next year inspiring others ❤
Great content! I plan to buy from various Chinese companies on Alibaba. Worried about the shipping costs. Is there a way to get all products together and shipped ones to reduce costs?
How do you register 2 trademarks on the same brand registry application? The Trademarks I got from the USPTO are for the name of my company and the logo
Thanks for creating such a helpful video, just have quick questions, I'm new to Amazon FBA: 1/ Can freight forwarders be 3PLs for storage purposes of shipping to Amazon FBA warehouse? OR 3PLs would be different parties than freight forwarders? Because when we send the first shipment to Amazon FBA Warehouse, the address should be out 3PLs' or Freight Forwarder's? Thanks in advanced!
