I don't understand why Google cannot create an option to the attach emails as true source files, just like in Outlook, instead of as another type of external attachment. The problem with an attachment source file rather than an "active" source file is generally when there are attachments in the source. Those attachments do not come over as active files (accessible), which is problematic. This feature still lacks the ability to maintain the integrity of the attached source. Woo Saaa... Google has got to do better. After all these years, this is the best they can do? I gave you a thumbs up. Your video was clear and you did the best you could with what Google provided. Thank you
Hello Gary the Google Guy, I totally appreciate your kind and clear informative instructions. I attached my email with a smile. Thank you very much for your help. God bless you n your loved ones.😊
Log into your gmail account. Go to Settings. There is an option “Conversation View : ON”. Switch that to “OFF”. It will reload your gmail inbox and this time all the emails will be separate. No threads i.e. trail of emails. Pick the one particular email that you want to send as an attachment. After you are done, you can again switch the conversation view ON and it will again our emails in form of threads.
Thanks a million for your video which made my life easy. No one has detailed this issue like you. God bless you. However, I would like to express here my disappointment for Google, as to why can't they make this attachment process simple like outlook.
THANK YOU!!! I tried to find the answer on how to forward AN email to someone and it kept telling me how to send all emails from one account to another. Very simply put so even I can understand. Again Thank You.
@@Resultant He's asking how to attach an individual email from a larger thread. The example you show sends the entire message thread which may not be applicable or may include past messages from the thread you may not want the recipient to see.
This was great help, however, something you overlooked, and maybe it was just me, but I spent lots of time trying to figure this out. After several tries I figured it out. My pop-out reply box needed to be made smaller, so I could see the email in my "Sent" column that I wanted to attach. If you leave it full blown, you can't see the list of emails to check the one you need to attach.
I want to attach the email not as an attachment i.e eml file. But i want to attach it in the body of the message directly. Just like copy & paste. How do i do it? Please help.
Can you make a video that explains how to add a 3rd person to an email conversation? For example: A potential client fills out the contact form on my website - that contact form gets sent to my business email. Once i receive that and reply to that person and start a conversation with them. How can i then add my employee to that email conversation so that my employee can see all the past emails and also join the conversation and reply to both me and the client as well? I am mostly asking, how do I add my employee to the thread so that it then goes from a 2 way conversation before into a 3 way conversation? Thanks! Any advice on how to simply do this would be helpful.
This just infuriates me... this is no longer the way GMAIL works with the new update... the screen is black and the attachment icons on the bottom are no longer there... !
