Hello. Nice video. Sir i am having a doubt. I have sent graduation transcripts from delhi university but my status at wes says statement of marks - accepted and degree certificate- not received. Can i directly upload the degree i have to my account or i have to apply all over again for transcripts?

All were sent by university only. Mdu sent everything electronically, ignou also sent itself ( i applied and pay for the fees only and photocopies were also given). And mdu and ignou were accepted in one go. Its du only in which faced problem. They gave me sealed envelope and i posted it via university post. Now wes also shows that degree certificates can be uploaded directly. I just want to make sure if it can be done or not.

Yes, it definitely can be done. Go to your Account Timeline and scroll down to the 'Upload Degree Certificates and Translations section'. You'll get a set of instructions with document size and formats etc.

Very useful video. I have called and verified with my university and the process is just to upload the Degree certificate and Marklist. I am so happy that I came across this video. U just saved a lot of my time and money. Thank you so much. Only one confusion, if you have masters, WES is asking to upload Bachelors certificate also. Not sure, how they will evaluate, if the masters and bachelors are from 2 different universities.

Thanks or the information while filling up the WES its ask for the mark list 2. Statement of Marks (State Board Issued and Attested) Ask the appropriate State Board of Technical Education to attest and send your document directly to WES in a sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate authentication officer at the State Board of Technical Education Where as 1. Diploma Certificate (Final or Provisional) can be uploaded online So looks like its not entirely online , can you clarify please

Sometimes it takes time to reflect on your account. You can even contact WES about it using their contact options mentioned on the website.

Few queries: 1) I got my WES evaluation done in 2020 for bachelor program from IPU Delhi. In 2022, I completed PGDM from Xaviers , Jamshedpur. I wish to apply for IRCC but I already have a valid WES number, Ielts score a) Do I need to pay again to WES for evaluating my pgdm credentials ? As per my understanding, I should not, right? 1 agent told me its for free b) If my college has not yet upgraded to electronic method of sending documents to WES canada, whats the procedure to tell them to start that as it will save me a lot of courier and attestation charges c) Do I need to still need to get an extra original copy of the transcript and get it attested by the college's registrar ? d) I am unable to upload any documents myself on my WES account, any solution for that ? e) I already made my profile using older WES evaluation, do I need to create all Express entry and PnP profiles again with the new evaluation? Will my WES reference number change?

I just have one query for a scenario where a person has completed a 3 years of Diploma in computer engineering, got admitted directly in 2nd year for BE and then completed the remaining 3 years of Bachelor's in computer engineering. My question is, does WES evaluate an autonomous college and a PGDM distance learning course? In fact I can also see my college name under the drop-down list of WES college list.

from all the videos watched this was helpful, so what is understand is first I have create account on WES, fill details and make payment and then through my university, upload the documents with the wes reference number, all I need to do is upload the documents on MU page.. nothing needs to be uploaded on WES page.. please correct me if I am wrong

Jason, hello! I've got a doubt. To Claim 22 points on FWS there's is an option that says "two or more post-secondary program credentials, one of which must be a credential issued on completion of a post-secondary program of three years or longer;" I need to validate both degrees or just one in order to claim points, because Wes says valide the highest one, thank you.

You have to upload it from the University page as demonstrated in the video, you can't upload anything independently

Thanks much for the detailed information regards to ECA and WES process. I have done with my transcripts, but my University says that they wont send any application to WES directly from university, rather asking me to send. But, with regards to WES , any ECA process should come from University directly rather than from individual. Could you please guide on this , it would be a great help to proceed. Hey Jason, how can I evaluate both diploma and BE degree with WES? My reason to evaluate both is to get more points in CRS as I have done a diploma of 3 years and then 3 years of engineering(direct 2nd-year admission), based on my research I can claim "two or more degree" in CRS, let me know if I'm correct or not? BTW, this is the best source I came across, keep up the good work buddy!

Hi@@bhagyashreethakare8406 I have done diploma from "MSBTE" and Degree from "MU". Based on my research "MU" has an online service to send your records directly to WES (as mentioned in the video), whereas "MSBTE" is still following the traditional approach where we have to visit their office in person. For both cases, we need to get the transcripts from the respective colleges. I hope it helps.

Two questions, do I have to create two WES accounts, one for myself and one for my husband, is it necessary to have both our education evaluated for the Express Entry application? Second, my degree and masters is from the University of Greenwhich, who partnered with a business school in my country, how do I explain this on the WES application since the business school will have to provide my documents?

Hi Jason! Thank you for posting such informative videos. I have a PhD from a US University, and my masters and bachelors degree are from India. WES indicates to submit only highest completed credential for ECA. Should I just be submit my PhD information? While doing this, I pick my country of education as US. In case I am also required to verify my masters degree credentials, I should pick India as country of education. Also, WES charges a fee for each degree verification? Many thanks!

hi Jason, thanks for such an informative video !!! i understood from your video that the same reference number (which is provided by WES upon the fee payment) is to be used for each and every document (degree/certificate/transcript) to be sent to WES for assessment. i just want to know if one has to pay a fee of 220$ for each document in case an applicant has multiple degrees from same/multiple universities or this 220$ is applicable for a reference number only and that reference number may have multiple degrees in it either from same or different universities. your reply will be really helpful !! thanks😀

Hi Kunaal, 220 would be for all your degrees together, you don't have to pay for them separately, unless you choose to evaluate another degree on a later date. Then you would need to pay another $100.

Hey Jason! Amazed by the information you have provided. I tried to initiate my process by checking the documents required for WES but experiencing some issue. I have done my Bachelors and Masters from Sikkim Manipal University and it shows "WES does not evaluate academic records from Sikkim Manipal University at this time. Do not include this credential in your application. If included, this will cause a delay in processing your evaluation report." Could you please help me out with this, what does it mean, what is it's impact and how can I proceed with the evaluation?

Hi Vijay, sometimes WES doesn't evaluate credentials from certain universities. In this case, you can evaluate that particular credential using any other evaluation agency, even though it'll take a bit longer to evaluate. Its a common occurrence, nothing to worry about. Her name when she completed her graduation (on all the university documents) is Gauri Kaley whereas, post marriage she changed her name to Gauri Gotmare (on other official documents like Aadhar and Passport). Which name should she create account in? Would she be required to submit marriage certificate along with the documents?

Hi, I have applied for ECA. Got the reference number. Now I have to ask my college for the transcript. I just have one question related to documents required.. One was to upload the degree that can be done second was : 2. Statement of Marks (University Issued and Attested) This is an official document issued by the institution responsible for conducting the examinations (e.g. university or autonomous college). It lists all subjects/papers taken and marks earned for each year of study and must include your university student identification number. College-issued mark sheets/result cards are not accepted unless from an autonomous college. This means the college will have to send only the TRANSCRIPT ?? or TRANSCRIPT + MARKSHEETS ??

Hi Srishti, (2) listed by you is your transcript. So your university will be sending across your marksheet, degree certificate, and transcript. Hai sir, your information about an online attestation process is great! I completed my undergraduate under Kerala University of health science. Yet I'm not getting the online attestation link in my WES account. I got my WES references number prior to proceeding with the payment. Now I have completed my WES application and I got my reference number but, my payments and document submissions are pending.

Hi Mukesh, you'll need an immigration specific ECA for immigration as they are tailored for immigration purposes. If you have another type of ECA already, you can simply request to get it re-issued to an immigration specific one, depending on the type of ECA and/or issuing organization. I have a couple of questions which I am sure I will get exact reply from you. 1) I have a BA (14 years) degree from Pakistan, Postgraduate Diplomas from UK and then an MBA from UK (Anglia Ruskin Uni). So do I need to upload/send all my credentials starting from Matric/SSC, FA/HSSC, BA, PGD and MBA or only my recent qualification degree (MBA) will suffice for WES? 2) In case I have to get all my qualifications assessed, will I be paying for it once i.e. 230CAD or different charges add on? 3) Do I also need to get my wife's credentials assessed or only mine will work? I have recently created WES account and followed further steps and received reference number. Now, I have a question. I have done my academic in 2015 and I have collected the transcripts for the same in 2015 now can I send the old transcripts which are 2015 or do I need to collect the latest transcripts from the university and need to send the latest.. bez in my older documents the issue date is August 15 2015. Hi Chaitali, you'll receive a nomination package by email if your application has been approved which will include a nomination letter, an SINP work permit support letter (if applicable), and further instructions on how to proceed with an application for Permanent Residency with the Government of Canada. You must submit your application for PR to IRCC within six months of being nominated by the SINP.

I’ve one query though, I’m a graduate from University of Mumbai, when I was applying for online attestation from the online portal under step 3 they asked to upload a transcript and it was mentioned that issue date should not be older than 1 year from current year.
