Please do a version of Baby Steps for how to work this out with Type 1 diabetes since a child and medical costs are always going higher. Living paycheck to paycheck 60-65 hours a week. Monthly medical expenses more than rent. Living with other bare minimum living expenses. Always lived on a budget, having diabetes you have to.

Please do a version of the Baby Steps for a single person, age 60+ with no children. Obviously, Steps 1-2-3 remain the same and Step 5 does not apply. But how are Steps 4, 6 and 7 adjusted to account for a late start?
@Johanneslol11
@Johanneslol11 4 месяца назад
I think at that age I would increase your investment, and pay off your house. (Depending on how far you are with paying that off) and then lastly number 7. But that one should be limited at first because you first need to build enough wealth that you can retire at all

Question on Step #4. My company matches 3% on my mandatory 5% into my 401k. Additionally, I have a 457b plan sponsored thru my employer. There's no match here, but should I be putting the other 10% into this plan or just pump it all into my 401k?

What advice would you give ? We are a single income family, we own our primary home and have a rental home(which was our 1st home starter)From our reWe have an emergency fund of more than 8 months plus in savings. We have a working monthly budget which looks good on paper. We find ourselves dipping into our emergency fund for big annual expenses like car insurance, car repairs and most recently adding to IRA accounts to lessen our IRS taxes. I am 58, and my spouse is 53. I have a retirement from my old job. What can we do now, to make it easier for my spouse to retire at 60?
@myaccount9498

Hi 👋 If u are dipping into your emergency fund for car expenses; then u need to modify that category into your budget. Have a sinking fund just for your car/s and add to that every time u get paid. Most car expenses like insurance, servicing etc, u can forecast what that will cost u in a year. Hope that helps u both ❤

Why isnt there a step for when to buy a house/save for downpayment
@Concatenate
@Concatenate 4 месяца назад
Because the steps are designed to get people out of debt, primarily. Ramsey says before buying a house, be debt free, fully funded emergency fund, be able to pay 20% down and mortgage be no more than 25% of your monthly take home pay. Good luck.
@Bethelgal42
@Bethelgal42 4 месяца назад
The calls saving for the down-payment 3B once you are debt free with an Emergency Fund. Ramsey says you should not spend more than two years savings for the down payment before moving on to Baby Steps 4/5/6.

My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to take risks. Saving is great but taking risks puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. Thanks to larysa Caba, my portolio is doing really great and im proud of the decisions i made last year.

I feel one Of the greatest challenges that we first timers face in the ma rket is that we end up losing all we have,making it difficult to find ourselves back to our feet. My biggest advice is to always seek the services of a professional just like I did when I ventured into it for the first time. Big thanks to Larysa Caba. I now make huge profits by weekly through her services while still learning to stand on my own.
@ivarlast2966

I have never seen a trader as open and transparent as Larysa Caba with her clients. The way she decides to make a profit for her clients. she allows you to express your fears and she still rests your fears and that is my respect. I don't normally comment on videos, but this word should be included. she is really cool.

Way too oversimplified. Missing big things: Roth 401k, saving for a down payment, real emergencies, life curveballs, messy middle, getting to your biggest wealth building tool (job) - starter job - with unreliable transportation and not everyone is pigeonholed into their unmobile house buying.

Sometimes fate plays a huge role in getting your first home. I worked at a professional job for 12 years and was laid off, I cashed out my 401k and put it away in savings. Was rehired a couple of months later and started up my 401k again. Started looking for a house about 8 months later. Since the lender only need 6 months of pay statements and my work history showed me working at the same place for over 12 years, i was approved for a pre-qual. I started shopping around with that pre-qualified letter. Came across a foreclosure and since it was a foreclosure, had to get a conventional loan which required 20 percent down. Still had my money from the 401k cash out and the rest fell right into place.
