Thank you so so much for posting this, I have a twin needle chain stitch machine that I've never been able to find a manual for or any info on it. I just assumed that it only had one option.

Useful short video that users of that type of machine will appreciate. I tried to change the length of Lilo and Stitch using the button and the hand wheel and it released a smoke monster. Thankfully I found this hidden bunker to hide out with a pretty annoying price for admission. I have to press in an elaborate sequence of numbers into an ancient computer or the world will collapse into oblivion. The upside, there's a cool turntable in the bunker and a lifetime supply of Dharma Mayo.

I have Singer 211 that uses this method for stitch length. It is hard to move the pulley to various stitch length. It is like turning something that is bound up or rusted a little. The machine is very clean and works very well, but I wish I could adjust the stitches without the resistance.

sounds like you need to clean and oil the stitch length adjustment mechanism that I showed under the machine.
