In this video we show how to set up and use a Fisher labs. TW6 split box. Will show how to zero out the instrument and test it over a known target. You can adjust the sensitivity after zeroing out the receiver which can be helpful in noisy environments. This is an excellent tool to use when a two-person sweep is impractical.Single person sweeps use the principles of induction where the transmitter creates a signal, induces a current in an object underground, and then is recorded by the receiver in the front of the split box. Types of objects you can find underground include metal pipes as well as underground storage tanks and other conductive materials.
