Thanks Jared! Yeah, when I worked at Cabelas as well, there weren’t a lot of beginner options. This kind of kit would’ve sold VERY well. As far as those practice weights, I agree - the casting weight is a good trainer. Even for retrieve technique it’s a lot better than a simple weight. The weighted casting bait has action so it’s pretty realistic as compared to a real lure. I’ve been using the palomar know almost exclusively now thru all the different line types. Of all the knots I’ve used over the years, this one is fast and durable. It’s just a matter of making sure that the last loop ends on the outside or top of the knot. Thanks for the support buddy! @@live2fishofficial yeah Palomar is too good. And yeah I don't really understand that. I thought YT was taking it away months ago or maybe that's next year. I get a thumbs down on some of my best vids 😕 and almost all my shorts get multiple thumbs down. Its a bummer.
