HOW TO SET UP A NATURAL HAMSTER CAGE :) 

I may do that, though I just cleaned Tofu's cage so I probably won't do that for another few months (and other than that I just spot clean). I never do full cleans and rarely remove any bedding (unless its from her pee area) because it's so stressful, so It would probably be a video on how I spot clean :)

I don't necessarily agree. I've had some hamsters who just started chewing practically from one day to the next. Had they have had plastic houses, this could have been very dangerous. Plastic tunnels and houses also have bad air circulation, and it can become quite stuffy in them. Many are also partially transparent, which can be really bad for the hamsters sleep. Even the veterinary animal association for animal welfare in Germany (TVT) sees plastic tunnels as unsuitable. Of course there's also the fact that it's not natural, like you said :)

dogs hamsters yea I’ve seen that other places have been saying to not use plastic. I’m in Canada so overall most people are very behind in small animal care here! Most of my hamster supplies are wood or ceramic, but I do give all of them a plastic igloo and a plastic playground (I’ve found every hamster I’ve ever had loves their playground thing). Is ceramic good to use other than natural stuff though? Wooden hides are just a lot more expensive so for my dwarfs especially I love getting little ceramic pieces which are really inexpensive for them to hide in!
