great video, vmix in my experience is so much more stable than OBS, and the best features for vmix most people don't know about are the MIDI control and the scripting. The thing that bothers me about OBS for more complicated jobs is that you need 15 plugins before it is usable or you are at mercy at some service you have to pay, also if you need to set up on a PC that is not yours it is easier to say to someone go download that 1 piece of software and you just bring the vmix configuration file and assets you made at home and you are ready.
Thank you for this tutorial. By the way, i need to get a data such as match, champion, stats at real time to add to my hud, but i dont know how to do this. Could you make a tutorial for this.
Not necessarily, only some games offer it. Usually it’s manual from someone writing down stats onto a spreadsheet, or through a game API if it’s available
hello really great video help me a lot to became better at using vmix for esport event btw i find a way to have image from pds be editable through GT title designer like at 45:44 you show a way to have dynamic image change through data. a way make it editable is to click on the image click on data and uncheck hidden save it and the image became editable through Vmix title editor.
I don’t have a venmo since I’m from the UK, but I’m doing all of these for free and don’t expect anything in return. I post everything on twitter @atroooix about anything coming up, I’m currently away for broadcast until May 30th then will be filming content all week to release, so a little bit of waiting required. Thanks for watching!
would something like NDI bridge be used to see the players screen only to get replays even though the spectators are not live on the players be something you would consider..what are your thoughts on this and would it be worth the hassle of trying to get players to install bridge and NDI screen capture on their pcs. seeing as you can pull a webcam and their game from this i see this as only a win. but would like to know what a pro thinks... TIA i use VMIX for corporate streams and stuff really enjoying the esport side of things
Im curious about this aswell. I use vmix at work for corporate streams also but all for live events not remote. Trying to run NDI for everything including screen and projector feeds
Thank you for this tutorial. Please I tried importing a PSD into the gt title but it didn't work. Did you rasterized all layers in Photoshop including text?
It's a custom tool that I had commissioned which uses Google Cloud Vision to read an NDI feed of the Game which then exports the data every 500ms to a text file that updates on OBS / vMix, with any HUD graphic underneath
