hmmmm nice info But i just put the speakers behind me. You have better control. especially in smaller venues. Been doing it for years and if you know your voice/mic/system feedback shouldn't be a problem. you eliminate the need for monitors, AND almost all the time i use just one speaker anyway Again i've been making my income this was since the 90's. on top of that It cracks me up seeing guys in small venues using in ear monitor
You may have noticed that one of the comments, mentioned that you hadn't written down the Mic cable. I'm wondering why any musician would label cables used in live pperformance as Wire's
This is great but kind of overkill for a simple small bar gig. As a solo performer I have no need for a mixer, monitors. One battery powered speaker, guitar, mic stand, mic and I’m ready to go.
Hi great video man very informative what monitor's are u using looks nice and compact please can u send me the link where i can get them or something similar?

Good detailed video depicting your process and gear. As you get older (and wiser??), you tend to “downsize” on weight and “stuff” and go to use more wireless solutions. The items that caught my attention was the huge mixer, speakers/monitors, and lights. With Bluetooth and wireless technology, you can reduce or eliminate cables, and with Battery operated systems as well that have proven to be reliable. For example, you can use a Behringer Flow 8 digital mixer, JBL Eon Ones speakers or Bose S1 Pros, an Xvive or Shure IEM system, a Chauvet DJ colorband with Bluetooth, or ADJ battery powered PARCans and reduce your setup and tear down time, remove messy cables, and not hurt your back lifting heavy speakers, etc. Eazy Peazy! Any thoughts?
And spend a lot of money on batteries. If I was moving around on stage that would be the way to go. But when I'm playing I'm pretty much stationary. Thank you for the comment, much 👍 appreciated.
@@JasonsAcousticWorkshop I use rechargeable batteries, and I always have charged batteries ready to go for a swap. It is an initial investment, but once you have this, it works great. Some systems just need to be plugged in to charge.
This is a setup for a trio or small band solo guitaris / singers don't work like this any more this was 3 years ago ...while this guy is stil setting up I already played a set 😅

If you have a Mixer you don't need a DI Box. A DI Box is only necessary if you have a small PA setup, like 1 active speaker that connects directly to your mic and instrument. The reason is that XLR cables (mics) are balanced whereas line cables (instruments) are unbalanced and because of that you want the DI Box in between the instrument and the speaker to get a balanced signal into the speaker. A mixer does the same thing
