Do I need a 'special' monitor to connect to ATEM Mini Pro for multi view or may I use any monitor to connect the HDMI output to view the multi view screen?
I don't think you need a specific Tv; it's all about what HDMI/ADAPTER you use.. it's also about the length of your HDMI as well apparently.. -- Specifically.. the Fiber Optic HDMI. I am currently researching issues with mine. But it seems to be connected to a Display-Source based HDMI where as SDI to HDMI (doesn't matter if it's the Fiber Optic at all) .. This means that all HDMIs to be used must be Fiber-Optic based or something..
Thanks, great information. I have a similar setup and I use Zoom. I am experiencing incredible lag in the audio over Zoom, also when I screen share, via the ATEM Mini Pro, the participants complain that it is blurry? Have you encountered these, and what did you do? Please post more about your Zoom, experiences. This is an area of great interest for many, as well as myself. Thanks
We've had people say our Apple TV stream is blurry, so when we use zoom we make sure we're sharing directly in screen for zoom instead of an external monitor, if that makes sense. Also the ATEM Control Software cuts right through any resolution errors on the recording!
Very good Präsentation, thank you. I am struggling with the atem Mini & Zoom re. Screen Sharing. If I switch sources, only my Participant/ speaker pic changes, but I did not find a way to bring e.g. source 2 or 3 into the screen sharing functionality. Zoom only offers the integrated sharing functionality and does Not Show the Atem channels as options. Do you have an idea how to set up / fix? This would be great- thx a lot & best regards
Very professional setup. I will soon struggle with something similar (talking head) but i want to record to the computer and skip most of the editing. I want 2 cams (HDMI from both cams into the atem) plus a Windows computer hopefully outputting Powerpoint from hdmi direct to the ATEM (unless I also need the bluevs adapter into the PC) and all of it would be switchable into a mac mini m1 using the USBC on both ends. But I thouht i would just use ECAMM live software and not run the ATEM software at all...as Im not sure where i would run the ATEM software if i had ECAMM going on the recording Macmini m1. Anyhow...nice looking video and a+. At first I thought...WOW what an amazing mobile camera he has shooting the back of his head/side front...then i realized it was the "Dennis" cam and not part of the ATEM haha. The plugging in the computer as a switchable HDMI feed seems complicated..... I don't plan to do Zoom with customers but I'd like to look into the NDI option which lets the Cellphone become an actual wireless camera (apparently) I also love how you used a glass table, had windows behind you and glass monitors in front and lighting kits....I don't know enough about lighting and I would be afraid of reflections. I wanted to buy a glass desk but thought I'd have to paint it to avoid reflections...I guess not. cheers
I tried connecting two long hdmi cables from my Atem mini pro to Z7 cameras, but it will only display one camera, but if I use a shorter cable the other camera that did not come up initially, it will now come on... What could be the cause why my two long cables cannot connect the two cameras at ones?
Hi, I use ATEM mini pro ISO and try this. I still have issues. I want to use the ATEM feed to show my video and desktop but with the desktop view, I get the infinite recursive desktop. I my computer hdmi into slot 1, can into slot 2, then ATEM hdmi output back to the laptop. Cheers, I can’t get it working properly. It’s connected to windows work laptop. I do have a Mac so can configure then plug back into windows computer. Thanks.
