I built this last night at my camp site! Thanks for the how to! It kept my swag dry for the most part. There were trees but too far apart for a Ridgeline so this Baker Tent was a great alternative to an A Frame. Thanks again for the easy to follow directions.
I can lay down and I have head and foot room. So a little more than 6ft. Thanks for watching, take care my friend. Oh yeah and start prepping for our thru hike, haha.
Actually it's a Adirondack Shelter. A Baker's Tent, will be like a lean-to with sides and a squared awning. Still an outstanding shelter though. Here's a Baker's tent ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tW3OSPhfPMw.html, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IVnSHQ7x5Ao.html, and this is the Adirondack Shelter, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wEkP2ZBTD6s.html
They are similar, but the adirondack has sloped side walls. And the baker walls are straight. Other than that no real difference. Thanks for watching, take care my friend.
That's what is nice about a tarp, so many configurations for all situations. Where as a tent can only do one thing. Thanks for watching, take care my friend.
