Doing this for every book is going to get pricey, especially when you consider the fact that some books may never sell a single copy. I know it's still important, but I wish this wasn't so expensive. Thank you for your content.

In your case, you could register from two to ten UN-published books using the *GRUW* on-line copyright registration application (aka *“Group Registration of Unpublished Works”)* for a total fee of $85. Do NOT include any published books with the GRUW application. If your books have been sold (or are being offered for sale), licensed, placed on a selling platform, or shared with the public, then they are likely published, and the GRUW would not apply.

What if you have a series? I'm still confused on what to put... So if my series is called Kingdoms of Color and book one is Stone of Hatred, do I just type out Kingdoms of Color: Stone of Hatred on the line? Would I click the "Type of work being registered" or "series title" since it is book one of probably 6 or 7 books. Also for the author thing I put text and artwork because I made artwork (maps, drawings of characters) inside my book. Is that ok?
You don’t have to formally register a copyright. If someone did infringe, it would be a piece of cake to prove in almost all cases, especially if work was published in advance and there is a paper trail. I’m not sure what proof Audible requires. If Audible requires this process and author wants an Audible book, then it makes a lot of sense, but I’m personally not doing it unless that is the case.
Question: if your self publishing has both words and pictures that you've done yourself (one book), do you have to register for two copyrights one for words and one for pictures, or can you lump it into one copyright?
I write an eBook and have somebody create a graphic for the eBook cover. When I copyright my eBook, is the image on the cover also protected by the copyright or do I have to apply for a separate copyright to protect the image on the cover?
KDP claimed my written off the top of my head journal with writing prompts as having "plagarism" from another author. Complete bollocks. I'm not going to spend money copywriting a journal/planner so back to the drawing board. Amazon's plagarism detection system is a crock.

If I have my book in English and in Spanish do I need to register them BOTH? Also, I’m a little confused with who’s making the claim… If I’m a publishing company but my authors have full rights, do I put the publishing company anywhere without taking away the rights from the author?
One question is it preferable to do the copyright on your (unpublished Works) after you edit your manuscript entirely or can you copyright your unpublish your manuscript before major edits And say that I want to add more things to my manuscripts story would that mean I would have to copyright it all over again because there are changes to the story?

Does it cover international. I been contacted to purchase my book and load onto their library. They asked for a internation copyright certificate number?
This registration fee is the equivalent of half a minimum wage in my country, and I have more than 200 books published. It is completely unfeasible, in addition to being a barrier to the creation of new works. Unfortunate.

Great video! Annoyed at the copyright website. I created an account last night- tried to access portal- said it was shut down until 6am this morning. It's 10am and says I have no account, try to register- it's not allowing registrations to be processed. When you seek help- says they'll get back to you in 10 business days. Why should government agencies be the only thing that prevents moving forward on a book...ugh.

they you can get it copy righted for free on Amazon but that is not totally safe. I have book almost done just need to get edited 4 volumes music theory. I don't have much money to spend

If a U.S. citizen living in another country temporarily, would we still use the U.S. copyright? And what about using graphics software's images in our e-book? Do we need to put that software name for photographs? Do you have other tutorials on putting public domain books on KDP? I'll search in the meantime.

after 11 months i guess you already know the answer, however it is a very good habit to add that page in order to avoid any problems. You can literaly copy paste that same page the guy shared with us during this video.
