A very important piece of equipment to have imo. Like you said Thomas, once you have an apex it would be hard to run your tank & equipment with out one. Well worth the money.
I want to do what is best for my tank that I don’t currently have I have been looking at the apex neptune bundle it is about 3k but I want to automate and try to make the learning curve a little easier if possible.
I'll definitely be getting one for my new tank set up...had the Apex classic in 2013 on my little biocube for 6 years before I moved and loved it!! As for your power outage..what did you plug in to your generator when power was out? Thanks
If you have a generator and the power goes out, I would suggest plugging in at least your heater and water movement (like your return pump). If the generator is large enough and the power is going to be out for an extended period of time, you may also consider plugging your lights in.
