I have just purchased one of these and it doesn't have a tool holder like the one shown in this video. Just one on one side of the base. @dyson can you please explain how/where to store all the tools as there is not enough space for them all and the manual illustration is unclear. Thanks 👍
Absolutely miss having this one, It was the second Dyson my late mother purchased for us back at the old house we used to live in whilst I was still her Full-time Carer Caregiver before she sadly died.
I have bought this dyson 3 days before OMG I can't belive my house has so much dirt before I was using dyson dc39 ...but I must say its very powerful yes its bit heavy compare to cylinder...but I definitely recommend this ...
I love how every Dyson video skips over how to make the arm bend back so we can start vacuuming. Is there a button that is pressed? I can't get mine out of the vertical position. Where is the button to bend it back so I can start vacuuming?
Got to say that this is a wonderful bit of design but man its fussy! I preferred my old cheap cylinder, much easier to use, lighter, more maneuverable (just the hose to manipulate, not a heavy body to 'drive' about !) and the retractable lead is much easier to put away. Yes the Dyson is more powerful (maybe too powerfull) and very clever, but for me its makes vacuuming more of a chore than it used to be.
I HATE dysons!!! The most unwieldy machines ever on the market. Absolutely NOTHING about them is easy to use and you need the patience of a saint to do anything other than a simple carpet or hard floor vaccuming. All the bits you have to pull out and try to figure out how to get them back together😳😳 Takes 10x longer to use than any other machine I’ve ever used in the past. And they’re so damn FLIMSY! Not only is is far from obvious how to get bits in and out, but simply trying to push the handle back down to put it away has created a big crack - and it’s STILL not down, so won’t fit into the cupboard 🤬 If it can be DESIGNED to be effective at cleaning, why not put some effort into DESIGNING it to be easier to actually use. Buying a Hoover or any other brand next time - which, if this one can’t be persuaded to go back down to storage height, will be very soon indeed! Do yourself a favour and buy a better designed vacuum cleaner.
I bought this several years ago as a back up. I mostly used my central vac on hardwood floors and carpeting. I have moved into a house with regular carpeting, and now I find this Dyson slim ball impossible to push due to the powerful suction. I searched the internet and others also have this problem. To date I have not found an easy solution.
