Hey Eugene Tech! Great video! Consider yourself as one of the lucky ones for actually having one in hand.I was beginning to think that the RAK V2 didn't really exist yet, and that RAK was pumping out the V1.5 in it's place.😅

Never power up any type of transmitter without the antenna or test load to the antenna port

It is safe to do so but I have explained why I did so. In the beginning, it is just a Raspberry pi booting up

Is there a Quick Sync for the RAK like the bobcat has? BTW, Im 3 months new to Helium Mining. I have my 5th hotspot deployed yesterday. Your videos are the best by far and you have really helped me with the knowledge to continue.

Is it fine to keep Clodpi inside miner - Outside ? Or it should be mandatory need to put inside ? I was thinking, inside may be it could not able to contact other nearby miners, or shall I go for external anteena.

You cannot keep the miner outside without an enclosure (for protection from weather). It is important is to have the antenna outside, the miner could stay inside

You should get a notification in the app whether the transaction succeeded or failed

Quick question, if later I want to turn it off to install a better antenna or switch to ethernet... would I just unplug the device, install the antenna, the ethernet cable and plug back in? Thanks

For changing the antenna, you can turn it off, replace the antenna and turn it on again. For switching to ethernet from wifi you have "forget password" for the existing wifi using the Helium app.

Hi bro I need some information we have hotspot at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, india beacon was sending 2 r 3 time a days but only 1 time the other hotspots are witnessing why..? Some time 3 r 4 days for witnessing 1 beacons , in India all hotspots have same issue help me out bro

Hello bro this is mr. FoB from Germany...I have recently recieved my sensecap M1 EU 868 miner with 2.8 dBi antenna. I'm pretty confused to upgrade the antenna....bcz the rewards are pretty low and the transmit scale (0.5). I have gone through all your videos and they are very informative. Can you suggest a good antenna for my miner? At the same time..... To improve my transmit scale I have checked, it says the problem is with Resolution 5 and Resolution 6 if I'm not wrong

The antenna gain should be set depending on your target hotspots and the height of your antenna placement as I have shown in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A2_sJQhpdig.html. If you are not sure, then 4-5.8 dBi is a good choice usually. For the transmit scale, you cannot do much without physically moving it to a different hex of the problem is in the res5 or res6 hex. Hi, I just installed my Rakv2 out of the box and I'm getting this message just after finding the hotspot on Bluetooth and trying to connect, anyone has any idea on how to solve it? 'Onboarding Error Your onboarding adress is invalid. Please contact the hotspot manufacturer for next steps.' Thanks.

Hi, what is registration process with used hotspot? Let say I bought used hot spot from other person. Used hot spot will have valet set up for original owner?

For a used hotspot, it will already be registered to the blockchain. The original owner will have to transfer the hotspot to your account and then you to have give it internet access and assert location through Bluetooth pairing

Jesus, Literally step 1 in the instructions says to connect the antenna. Powering any kind of radio without an antenna connected could result in component damage. This whole video is just.. no..
