It can be buggy at times I've found. When this plays up I still haven't worked out a solution :( The only advice I can give is double check everything, possibly try turning another message type off if you have others that may conflict. Sorry I can't be of more use here :( Have you definitely set your times in your schedule? Try changing some times and reapplying to see if it overcomes the issue. Also, try altering the message or any setting you can to see if Facebook is simply running into an issue.
[SOLVED] For anyone having problems with the page not showing, click on pages on the left, click on your page then on the left click settings. Then follow the tutorial!

Hello! I managed to put some automated questions, they appear in someone's new chat but if they click on them there is no instant response to them ( as i preset them) instead i get a notification that someone asked something. Please help? I want that instant response to be shown when they click the question!
Hi Ema, I'm not sure why it would be doing that. I get a notification when someone asks but I can see the response. I've looked on my end and can't see anything that cause that issue. You may hate this response - but have you tried canning it completely, and redoing it? (copy and paste Q's and A's back in) or even starting a dummy page and testing it on that? It may be a Facebook glitch (which happens)
On Desktop - it can be found in the same location with a few differences that are pretty self explanatory when you get there. On Phone - 1. Go to the bottom right Hambuger Icon with 'Tools' - tap that 2. Tap the 'Settings' with the Cog icon 3. You'll see 'Automated responses' in there - you can go through the options there pretty easily. I hope that helps!
If it's on a phone it won't pop up (or if you're logged in I think...) Are you on desktop when you test it? Also, I know it can be a little buggy at times... I'd double-check it has remained turned on too.
Hi Emily, are you sending auto-responses or receiving them? Is it on your personal profile? Facebook apparently hasn't set up the feature for personal profiles however it may be a glitch you'd need to contact them about. I don't think there is a way to turn off responses from pages (sent to you) either, unfortunately. I have checked this out pretty thoroughly and can't find any option or information on it :(

Great video, my Automated messages doesn't work anymore, it was working just fine and when I was testing it on another day it just doesn't work. Do have any idea how to fix it? I removed the API code from my website and added it again but still doesn't work...
Thank you Rodrigo! I wish I had a solution for you,, but I haven't had any experience fixing the auto responder on Facebook. How is it not working? Are you able to access all of the options and it's just not firing? Can you create a second test page and see if it's playing up for that too? I would test a few things (you probably already have). If it's only one page, than it's at least a page only problem and an to a problem with your whole profile... I hope that give you some ideas

@@rodvgc ah damn. I've never integrated it with a website - what's the site built on? Is it a plugin? I don't know if I'll b of much help but will try :)
@@WadeMcMaster 1:01 you'll find the "Add Messenger to your website" feature, then you just need to copy the API to your body (I use WordPress), no plugin needed. Hi Ian, unfortunately Facebook only has this feature for pages. Could you create a group under a page (instead of personal ) and try using this method for the messaged of that page? You could possibly link to your messenger (messaging settings on your page has a link) and kind of working around it that way?
