With regards the “subscription element” - any hydroponic nutrients will work. Master blend is a popular brand. As for the “soil inserts” which I actually believe is coconoir, you could use cotton wool, clay pebbles, rockwool or even a pool noodle chopped up in “donuts” It’s just an inert support medium to give the plant some structure, it doesn’t give any nutrients etc Great video however!

Why does the blue power light come on and off, but the other lights don't come on at all. And further do you use the vege or flower button when growing herbs??
Hi, I have a question. My system came with a seedling option should I use that first and when they begin to sprout use vegetables. I have been using the system for a couple of days and I don’t want to mess it up. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

@techsteinyt Do I add more plant food each time I top off the water level? For example if the water level goes down 1L and I want to re-add that 1L of water do I add plant food as well?
I just had this delivered today, set it all up but my water level indicator thing only goes up as far as 2.5 litres. I thought I did something wrong so emptied it all out and did it again but it still won’t go above the 2.5 mark. I’ve tried tapping it etc but it’s as if they’ve made it too short. Anyone else having this problem? I can’t be bothered sending it back, I guess I’ll just have to use the water input part to make sure I don’t go over the max level and pay attention to how much new water I’ve added so I can work out how many much of the nutrients to put in. Means I’d have to add the nutrients after the water though. 🤔 mildly irritating lol
**poor design woth the pump** The other bad feature is the pump. Once it fails, you can't just unplug and replace. It is wired into the base. These pumps do fail, and you will not be able to use a new pump unless you wire one back in, but it is in water, so you can't. You can add your own pump, but it won't work with the cycle system on the unit. Research others for the option to replace the pump more easily. The company offers no help with this and no instructions on what to do if it fails.
